Kendriya Vidyalaya Rd, East Hill, Kozhikode, Kerala 673005, India

“A modest collection but an interesting snapshot of the history of the area. Lovely gardens and a nice view make it worth a brief visit. Seems to be very popular for school trips - there were several coachloads there when we visited. Rather than finding them a distraction, we loved to see them so excited!”

55CJ+2CM, Near Munambam police station, palliport, pallipuram, Kochi, Kerala 683515, India

“A hexagonal fortification built by Portuguese as their costal battery to keep their cannons. Cellular barracks of gunners also were there, but has lost in the wake of time. Now it is well maintained by Archeological Survey Department and preserved as a heritage site. The access to the site is a little bit small and there are no dedicated parking spaces.”

Shankar Memorial National Cartoon Museum & Art Gallery
4.2
( 8 reviews )
Open until 06:30 PM

NH 66, Krishnapuram, Kayamkulam, Krishnapuram, Kerala 690533, India

“The place is a must visit for those who love arts and sculptures. Many pieces of wonderful exhibits are there. An exclusive gallery for the winners of painting competition from around the world is awesome. There needs to be more facilities for sitting as there are no chairs available outside. It appears a lack of advertising that is not attracting people to this place. There is parking available for 4-5 cars inside. The bigger vehicles can be parked outside.”
