( 8 reviews )
Closed until 11:00 AM

5519 Five Mile Dr, Tacoma, WA 98407, United States

“A wonderful place to visit and experience "living history". All the volunteers are amazing and you truly feel transported back in time. We so enjoyed the Christmas Regale and have decided it will be a new holiday tradition for us! Definitely recommend!”

Wing Luke Museum
4.7
( 16 reviews )

719 S King St, Seattle, WA 98104, United States

“Went in for the Nobody Lives Here exhibit and joined a tour of the old hotel and shop adjacent. Our guide was excellent and did a good job engaging a quiet group and providing some interesting information. The tour felt immersive and is a must for those interested in Washington and Seattle history. The rest of the museum has some really great art and historical pieces showcasing the vast and diverse Asian American experience. My one piece of feedback on the Nobody Lives Here exhibit is that it was a little text heavy, which was hard to take in fully. I really liked the before and after shots of different areas around Seattle showing 'progress' at the expense of marginalized communities and would have loved to see more.”

Bainbridge Island Japanese American Exclusion Memorial
4.8
( 8 reviews )

4195 Eagle Harbor Dr NE, Bainbridge Island, WA 98110, United States

“A super well curated little memorial to one of the many times when the USA showed it's dark side. It does a great job at really setting a tone with minimal information. It's not very big but shares a really powerful message with a few sculptural elements.”

1951 Alaskan Wy, Seattle, WA 98101, United States

( 16 reviews )
Closed until 11:00 AM

1020 W Ocean Ave, Westport, WA 98595, United States

“The lighthouse is an interesting piece of local history. The attendent was knowledgeable and informative -- not to mention friendly. It was worth the short visit. The whole visit is 30 to 60 minutes depending on how many plaques you read.”

Blade & Timber Axe Throwing - Seattle
4.6
( 8 reviews )

206 Broadway E, Seattle, WA 98102, United States

“Had an OK experience at Blade & Timber. The online reservation was a bit annoying to deal with. Prices were a bit deceiving $124 for a lane (but it is only for 4 people), if you add more (up to 6) it is $31/head. You get a 1.5 hour block. Staff was a bit awkward. Most of the group was not familiar with axe throwing...they spent quite a bit of time "instructing" and then just let us go at it. It was even more awkward at the end when the instructor decided to spend 10 min of his time to show "trick shots" when no one really asked and we were all just awkwardly standing there while he threw and waited for him to finish. It's cool that they serve beer, but it definitely is a bit over priced. I was assuming drafts were available, but just having cans for $6-7 is on the pricier end. To top off the awkwardness, when I went to pay for the group, I already had a coupon applied via email, but the instructor said he took a discount off the top for us (receipt said birthday discount), when I already applied it on my res online. He thought he was doing us a favor, when I already had the discount online... Majority of the group had a good time (barring the odd instructor pauses), which is why it is saving it from a 1-2 star review, but from what I was expecting...definitely not as good of a time as I thought. Good spot to hang out, but its definitely on the pricier end. Weird to have a line asking for tip, since if anything, the instructor just ate into our time to throw axes. Still, was feeling nice, and tipped normally. Street parking only.”

The Center For Wooden Boats
4.7
( 10 reviews )
Closed until 10:00 AM

1010 Valley St, Seattle, WA 98109, United States

“You can check out some of the row boats by the hour and you can get private sail lessons. There are classes for adults and youth camps. The youth camps are primarily in the summer. It's a fun chill place to learn more about wooden boats or chill on the water in a small boat.”

Escape

4.8
( 16 reviews )
Closed until 11:00 AM

7456 N Division St, Spokane, WA 99208, United States

“Oh my gosh this was such a sun and unique experience!!! Couldn’t take any photos inside but that’s ok! There are multiple games to choose from, we chose the spooky one. Unfortunately we didn’t win. We were super close though!!! Teamwork is seriously needed and when one person doesn’t do their part it hurts the whole team. Good thing we didn’t really have to get out in time or we’d be toast haha”

Yakama Nation Cultural Center
4.5
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 09:00 AM

100 Spiel-yi Loop, Toppenish, WA 98948, United States

“Phenomenal museum. Those who designed the cultural center, inside and out, clearly and carefully considered the visitor's experience. Information within the museum unfolds in an organic and experiential way, and you end up learning so much through senses (audio, what you see, going into a space). We loved the QR codes that let you hear the pronunciation of words. Take the time to read the texts about “when there was no Time, before history began.””

Chihuly Bridge Of Glass
4.6
( 10 reviews )

Bridge of Glass, Tacoma, WA 98402, United States

“Such beautiful pieces. I brought my son over to view the art. We enjoyed it. I want to come back sometime when the weather is warmer.”

Marine Life Center
4.5
( 10 reviews )
Closed until 10:00 AM

1801 Roeder Ave STE 100, Bellingham, WA 98225, United States

“It’s tiny (literally it’s one room), but they do a good job with its size. First of all, it’s along the water and the staff are passionate about education. Signs explain each of the tanks and its habitants. There’s one tank that you can crawl into to poke your head through a bubble in the middle. There’s a kids corner with activities like coloring and origami. Public restrooms are nearby.”

1709 Records
4.8
( 9 reviews )
Closed until 12:00 PM

1709 Broadway St, Vancouver, WA 98663, United States

“When it comes to vinyls, the ones I look for are very rare so I didn’t bother browsing the store and just asked the lady who worked there if they had Joe “My name is Joe” Her response “Just take a look in the r&b soul section and it’s all alphabetical” The point of me asking not for you to tell me to browse a section for it. I didn’t appreciate her tone, and didn’t seem to care too much. Got recommended by Ronald Records to check here if they had the vinyl I wanted”

Anacortes Farmers Market

Whatcom Museum
4.6
( 16 reviews )
Closed until 12:00 PM

Lightcatcher, 250 Flora Street Old City Hall, 121 Prospect St, Bellingham, WA 98225, United States

“A "can't miss" of your important time during your visit to Bellingham. Plan for a couple of hours here, especially as you work your way upstairs to the John M. Edson Hall of Bird's. If you're a fan of birding, then you're in for a treat! Fantastic up close experience of these magnificent creatures. And the variety of species in one location...wowzers! I highly recommend a visit here! Oh, your ticket will also get you entry into the Lightcatcher Building & Museum, just around the corner, as you also can walk to it. Now that's a bargain.”

Sunken Treasures Games
4.4
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 10:00 AM

1341 George Washington Way suite b, Richland, WA 99354, United States

“There is so much to say about Sunken Treasures. Where to start.... First, Sarah and Christian are some of the nicest people I've met working in a video game store. They are courteous and helpful throughout my visit. Second, they offer better trade values than most. I was impressed with the trade value that they offered me. Third, the selection is great. They don't have everything in the world (which would be incredible), but they do have a massive selection. I'm happy that I visited them today and look forward to coming back. Thank you, Sarah & Christian.”

Tacoma Glassblowing Studio
4.9
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 08:30 AM

114 S 23rd St, Tacoma, WA 98402, United States

“We took our grandsons (ages 11 and 8) for the glassblowing experience -- It was Amazing!! Their instructor, Ben, was fantastic! He was calm, encouraging, and clear with his instructions. Once the boys had finished their projects, Ben made Gabe a glass bird as a birthday gift. The boys both rated the experience 'Better than Awesome'! I would agree! My husband and I are planning to schedule our own experience! Highly recommended!!”

Columbia Crest Winery
4.6
( 10 reviews )

178810 WA-221, Paterson, WA 99345, United States

“Nice winery with a lot of character, despite being like a corporation (watch the trucks with grapes come and go). Make sure to go down the stairs and see the cellar with all the cases. The tasting room is very comfortable, enough space to taste and browse the wines. Prices of the wines are very reasonable.”
