“This a truly wonderful experience if you are interested in historical sites, especially pertaining to WWII. Not only is the site fascinating by itself but the first lady we met enthusiastically explained the historical relevance to Switzerland and guided us the best way to walk through the forte. It is also very interactive which makes it much more interesting. I could have stayed at the VR interactive game all day to the dismay of my wife. If I did it again, I would have visited the castle and the Forte of Chillon in the same day.”

“Really enjoyed taking the cog wheel train up to Rocher de Naye. It’s extremely popular due to Santa being there but apart from taking a couple of photos in the nicely decorated tunnel, I spent most of the time outside in the snow. It looks like it’s a great spot for skiing during winter.”

“Always seen from the train journeys to/from Lausanne & Fribourg which is nice! Very striking castle with visits available but not during the winter. The setting is nice also. Easily accessible via bus from Palézieux or Romont.”

“I first saw photos in an Outsider Art magazine. I came to Switzerland only for this. Imagine my disappointment when I thought it was blocked by workers. A stranger talked to a worker and then led me all the way to the structure. Voila I am extatectic. The food is delicious. The staff is very nice . Only wish there was a book in English”

“Great place and perfect for kids from 2 years. Many options. The kids can start to ride the karts also by themselves. The rides inside (3 of them ) are free and are done as and when the caretaker comes. Great place and recommend it. The ticket had welcome drink included in it.”
