Dahlonega Gold Museum
4.7
( 16 reviews )
Closed until 09:00 AM

1 Public Square N, Dahlonega, GA 30533, United States

“Completely worth of eight dollar fee to enter! The movie is fantastic and it is upstairs, there’s a very unique way to get to the second floor as well! The two Park Rangers downstairs were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about all of the questions that we had. The meant section as well as the first families in the area were very interesting. Gift shop is small and very niche but cute. Upstairs is where the real history starts. From the introduction to the area as well as the mining equipment on display. It is fascinating to see. There was a volunteer guide up at the top, which was incredibly knowledgeable and let us see even gold inside the brick structure of the building. Totally amazing. Overall, it was an incredible unique experience in downtown. Dahlonega cannot be missed anyway, so there’s no reason not to come!”

Reformation Brewery (woodstock)

Closed until 08:00 AM

105 Elm St, Woodstock, GA 30188, United States

“This brewery was pretty good and not TOO BAD. They had plenty of inside and outside seating. It had a really good California feel to it, but without all of the politics and taxes associated with California. The beer selection is nice and their beers are pretty good. Went for memorial day. We also had a hog roast there and that was amazing too. I really like the plethora of outside seating. Down town Woodstock has grown alit! Ok Bye”

Augusta Museum Of History
4.7
( 16 reviews )
Closed until 10:00 AM

560 Reynolds St, Augusta, GA 30901, United States

“Truly an amazing display of objects associated with the history and growth of Augusta...the James Brown exhibit was truly a well put together tribute to an amazing performer who not only shared his talents with the world but kept his life roots strong within his own community of Augusta. I would recommend this to families trying to express the importance of equality and what we can accomplish as individuals I was a bit disappointed they didn't have much tourist merchandise such as t shirts or postcards...they only had buttons and magnets”

Tubman Museum
4.7
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 09:00 AM

310 Cherry St, Macon, GA 31201, United States

“Our visit to the museum was an amazing experience. We learned of Artists that were from Macon, Georgia. We all learned so much history about Harriet Tubman and others from her era. We also were in awe to see that Tyler Perry had his own room filled with his memorabilia and lifetime accomplishments. All three (3) of us said the trip was worthwhile and we would definitely return again to spend more time to read and learn more of the history of Harriet and others that were there in the museum. I think everyone should visit there, to have the joyous experiences and memories as well that we captured. The staff was very helpful and explained everything that we had questions about regarding the museum.”

Black Ink Atlanta
4.5
( 10 reviews )

227 Peachtree St SW Suite 1, Atlanta, GA 30303, United States

“Visiting Atlanta from Chicago, my partner and I decided to be spontaneous and get SMALL matching tattoos. As we paid our 50 deposit, and described in great detail what we wanted for an appointment several days away, we were extremely excited. Expecting to pay at the very least 100 a piece for the miniature tattoos because the website required a starting price of 100. To say that we we were in complete and utter shock would simply be an understatement. Upon arrival, our would be tattoo artist Neptune, then explained that our MINI matching tattoos would be 200 hundred dollars A PIECE. It was at this moment that we realized why the parking lot and inside of the shop were completely empty. The deposit is definitely a trick to lure you in to tell you an insane amount that you would never pay for this particular tattoo, anywhere. They continuously make deposit money without ever having to lift a finger. Definitely do not recommend. Don’t waste your time!”

“The husband and I did both the Wizarding and Bigfoot escape. Both game masters we had were awesome!! The clues were very helpful and they would provide them if they see you struggling or if you asked for them! You could also request for them to not give any clues unless you asked for them! Very helpful and considerate for every type of play style! We only played with two people but we completed both with plenty of time to spare! Highly recommended!”

Keystone Escape Rooms
5
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 11:00 AM

Between Auto-Zone and LL Flooring, 580 Atlanta Hwy #204b, Cumming, GA 30040, United States

“I was happily surprised to find an escape room so close to our holiday home. I am no stranger to escape rooms of various styles, difficulties, and sizes across multiple states. I rank Keystone Escape Rooms within the top tier and among the best. First of all, their rooms are scalable for any group size. In this visit, the group size was two (my wife and I). This is usually a concern for me because I don’t always have a group of friends to align our schedules. Next, the selection of themes has variety for (almost) all ages and range in difficulty. The staff was very caring and obviously passionate about their craft and business. The puzzles are thoughtful, creative, and fun. There is no break between the themes and the puzzles within the room. Most of all we had SO MUCH fun. I will be back again and again.”

The Wren's Nest
4.6
( 16 reviews )

1050 Ralph David Abernathy Blvd SW, Atlanta, GA 30310, United States

“I’ve studied the Br’er Rabbit stories over the course of my entire life, and at 32 years old this was like a pilgrimage. Disney has done these stories dirty as there had been too much misinformation around these stories. Here is an ideal place to educate oneself about the tales from not only the docents that work there but also from the storytellers. All the staff was truly welcoming and attentive, answering questions not to mention allowing us to stay the entire day. They were enthusiastic about answering questions as well as openly discussing the controversy. The storytellers also were informative, welcoming, and willing to discuss the meaning behind the Br’er Rabbit tales. This place is worth your time and questions. It is worth your fact checking and your efforts to truly educate yourself (Twitter is NOT an education folks). Everyone who works here were incredible and thank you for having me and my partner.”

Gone With The Wind Museum At Brumby Hall

Closed until 10:00 AM

472 Powder Springs St SW, Marietta, GA 30064, United States

“I LOVED seeing and touching the replica dresses!!! the rest of the museum and gift shop were great. Loved all of it and it should be 5 stars but 1 star off because they have the green and blue dress and they are NOT displayed because they "need mannequins" they were just closed for a couple months this should have been thought about. 2. The staff anything I asked I was redirected to go to the Marietta History museum because it was really cool, but they never even told me why also come on at least TRY!! Also they were all just chatting like .....”

The Painted Horse Winery And Vineyards
4.8
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 01:00 PM

On the Roundabout, 13762 Hopewell Rd, Milton, GA 30004, United States

“We absolutely loved this mesmerizing place that reminded us of Europe and Italian vineyards and villas. It has wonderfully arranged yards with pool and hills and greenery that are a pleasure to look over, lovely farm animals our kids enjoyed watching, & often has live music performances. We made friends with graceful and well-traveled welcoming owners and looking forward to coming back soon. We haven’t tasted any wine yet as we had to drive that day, but looking forward to tasting some on the near future, especially as they’ve just started harvesting their own grapes in their vineyard! Most of the grapes they use to make their wines are brought by them from California, and it’s fascinating to having their own grapes harvests added to their collection. Can’t wait to explore more! Elegant and relaxing… I recommend to visit this place by everyone in the area and beyond and by a whole family for sure ❤️ Will be great to see more families gathering up there on evenings to come!”

Fernbank Science Center
4.3
( 10 reviews )
Closed until 10:00 AM

156 Heaton Park Dr, Atlanta, GA 30307, United States

“I am all for educational fun and this is the place for that. I am raising 2 young gentlemen and I want to expose them to many things, so they can ask questions and be excited about learning and their existence in this world. The Planetarium is an eye - opener and I loved how many times I heard " Whoa!" , it means they are engaged and their minds are expanding. The exhibits are nice also, but I just wish there was more to explore. It is a small museum compared to others we've been to, but it kept them engaged. Totally worth my Groupon. FYI : Admission is Free, but you pay for the Planetarium shows which are 2pm and 3pm during business hours . But I do encourage you to donate if you're not interested in that particular section.”
