13th Gate Escape, Louisiana's Ultimate Escape Games
4.9
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 09:00 AM

800 St Philip St, Baton Rouge, LA 70802, United States

“We have done two of these escape rooms and they were AMAZING! We live out of town and come to Louisiana a few times a yea to visit family. We did the Cutthroat Cavern, which is rated #2 in the world! When we did it the first time (yes, we've done it twice!) we were completely blown away. Where we come from the escape rooms are nothing like this. I am leaving out detail for a reason! We just recently did Disappearance of Flight 13. Once again, another fantastic room! They put their all into these rooms and you can tell. They are extremely creative and immersive. The building feels like it's a trailer, but that is more than easily overlooked as soon as you meet the friendly and fun staff and are taking back to your room!”

Van Gogh New Orleans: The Immersive Experience
4.8
( 8 reviews )

New Orleans Scottish Rite Temple, 619 Carondelet St, New Orleans, LA 70130, United States

“Van Gogh New Orleans was absolutely breathtaking! Soon as we walked in, we were submerged in all that made Van Gogh so mesmerizing. The wood carved sunflowers were beautiful! And I personally enjoyed all the history that was throughout the entire exhibit. My wife doesn't really know much about Vincent Van Gogh, however she said the exhibit was one of the best she's ever been to. We especially loved the ending, where we were able to create our own masterpiece. I strongly suggest making a stop to this exhibit during your New Orleans trip. Even if you aren't that into to art, you would still truly enjoy it.”

The Historic New Orleans Collection

( 8 reviews )
Closed until 09:30 AM

520 Royal St, New Orleans, LA 70130, United States

“Carefully put together collection of New Orleans history! A street car named Desire pieces are on display here as well as one of the last functioning home organs in America! They have an interactive map when you walk in that has a free downloadable app for walkable DIY tour routes of the city for various things! (Movie locations/ famous people/drinking tours etc..) There's an excavated well in the center courtyard that shows you the water level in NOLA in real time! Gift Shop was full of handmade pieces from local artists and wasn't just another tourist trap!”

Closed until 09:00 AM

6859 LA-577, Pioneer, LA 71266, United States

“I brought my 12 year old son to see the mounds as part of his personal studies and because it's part of his native heritage. We loved it. It was beautiful. A wonderful walk, and there was even a tour we could have joined but we traveled 3 hours to be there and only had enough time to do one thing. Next time we go to visit we will make sure we have more time. The management and grounds keepers were very kind and knowledgeable.”

Abita Mystery House / Ucm Museum
4.6
( 16 reviews )
Closed until 10:00 AM

22275 LA-36, Abita Springs, LA 70420, United States

“Did not disappoint! We stopped by here as a detour on the way home from New Orleans and it was a welcome break. Totally worth the $5, which you pay at the end. We probably spent about 45 minutes there, but you could spend more time there if you play all the games. At the entry, you are given a few quarters and they have an original pac man game along with several operational old pin ball machines.”

Bonnie & Clyde Ambush Museum
4.4
( 10 reviews )
Closed until 09:00 AM

2419 Main St, Gibsland, LA 71028, United States

“I really enjoyed this museum! I have wanted to visit for a while and was so excited to get the chance last week! The museum is packed to the gills with memorabilia. Its located in a very cool spot that ties into the history, It's somewhat organized, but could use some better labeling and if the authentic items could be showcased in a more prominent position that would be amazing. The owner was really cool to hang out and talk with as he could give a lot of backstory and info about the real Bonnie and Clyde as well as the many other characters and people involved in their great story.”

Adventure Quest Laser Tag

1200 S Clearview Pkwy 1106 Suite 1106, New Orleans, LA 70123, United States

“This place is awesome. Had my kids party here last year and everyone loved it. The prices aren't bad at all. The Lazer tag is so much fun and you can kill time on the arcade games. If you're looking for a place to have your kids birthday party or even something fun to do with your friends this is definitely the way to go. The pizza is really good also. Staff is always really friendly. I've been here over a dozen times & every time I come back I remember how great this place is & how much fun everyone has.”

Hermann-grima House

Closed until 10:00 AM

820 St Louis St, New Orleans, LA 70112, United States

“This guided tour was really incredible. We saw the sign for it walking down the street and decided to take a chance- it paid off. We learned more in the hour tour here than anywhere else in NOLA! The tour guide was so kind and informative, taking time to answer all our questions. Learning about the enslaved people of urban NOLA is so important when taking in this city’s history.”

Surge Entertainment By Drew Brees
4.3
( 16 reviews )
Closed until 09:00 AM

220 Mane St, West Monroe, LA 71292, United States

“This place has a lot of potential. A few changes would make this a remarkable place. Things to do. There are a lot of food options, ropes course, bowling, golf simulator, arcade games, etc on site. There is a lot of options for a wide range of ages to enjoy. A little for everyone and likes of different activities. Pricing was reasonable and we were there for at least 3 hours. The downside: - Arcade machines. At least half or more were simply broken or turned off. While there were many other choices to select from, this would have been a better experience if they would fix these machines. - Staff. Staff was very friendly and willing to help, if you could find someone available. Ropes course only had one employee vs the 2 they needed to open the zip line. Longer waits for someone to show up to get the food or to even get the arm bands required for the activities. - Getting tickets. 2 of 3 ticket machines were broken and could not be used. No signage that they were broken. - Arm bands. For the wrist bands, you have to use 1 of 3 computers to sign a waiver. 2 computers let you fill out the info and go to error. 3rd PC actually worked. No workers available for support to resolve the machine issues while everyone waits in line. Over all we enjoyed the place, but a little attention would have made a huge difference.”

“This historical house truly offers a glimpse into how the wealthy used to live in New Orleans back in the day. The rooms are truly beautiful and ornately decorated I visited during October and the tour was centered around death and burial rituals. The guide was very knowledgeable and because our group was so small we really got to enjoy all of the rooms. Definitely worth a visit”

“The place has a great atmosphere. It's a pity that you can't enter the house without a guide. We declined it because our English proficiency is weak. The entrance fee is symbolic, but there aren't many exhibits. The main highlight is the owners' house, which has restricted access”
