( 8 reviews )
Closed until 10:00 AM

Japan, 〒150-8377 Tokyo, Shibuya City, Udagawacho, 15−1 渋谷PARCO 6F

“It's on the smaller side in comparison to other Pokemon Centres across Japan, but it more than makes up for that fact with the unique Mew Two statue and the new Pokemon Design Lab where you can make your own personalised T-Shirts with almost any Pokemon (Hoenn and some other regions were unavailable at the time of my visit 1.11.2023). It has all the same merchandise as the other stores but with the addition if a few exclusive collaboration items with various brands. There's phone cases that have crystal designs that run between about 18000 and 30000 yen each. Also watches, wedding bands and laundry baskets.”

Chihiro Art Museum Tokyo
4.4
( 8 reviews )

4 Chome-7-2 Shimoshakujii, Nerima City, Tokyo 177-0042, Japan

“A small picture book artist's art museum located in a quiet residential area. U can feel the author's life of loving children who can express the difference between an 8 month old and a 1 year old baby. The modest atelier from that time remains and is well worth a visit. U can also drink tea while reading a picture book, so U can spend a relaxing time in a small museum.”

Madame Tussauds Tokyo

Closed until 10:00 AM

1 Chome-6-1 Daiba, Minato City, Tokyo 135-0091, Japan

“On the occasion of my birthday on January 26th we came to Madame Tussauds. Had a little trouble finding it. Later we went to the lego shop on the 1st floor and bought tickets. 2100 yen per person if you buy advanced ticket online and 2600 yen per person if you don't. Entering the elevator, I saw Bruce Wills standing and welcoming. We stopped at 6th floor. Johnny Depp stood as the elevator door opened. At the first entrance, wax figures of many political celebrities will be seen. I remembered Shinzo Abe's statue very much. After this, there were statues of famous athletes. I love wax figures of Lionel Messi, Usain Bolt and Maria Sharapova. There are fun games and activities. We take a lot of pictures and videos. Statues of famous musicians can be seen in the next section. I play the drum set. Danced to Michael Jackson's famous song. Handprints of famous people can also be seen. See the wax figure of Madame Marie Tussaud, who actually started this wax museum. Then there are world-famous scientists, writers, painters, among whom I like Albert Einstein very much. In the next section we look at famous actresses and actors. Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, Leonardo DiCaprio, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jackie Chan, Kate Winslet, Julia Roberts, Angelina Jolie are all seen. There is a modeling runway. We took pictures in the photobooth and left. Had a lots of fun and took lots of videos and pictures. Must recommended place.”

Besutoraifu Arukakittokinshichoten

( 8 reviews )

Japan, 〒130-0013 Tokyo, Sumida City, Kinshi, 2 Chome−2−1 アルカキット 2F

“I read other people's reviews saying that the customer service was good, and since it was my first time purchasing, I wanted to go to a place that had courteous customer service. When I asked what the price was, the female staff member said, ``Do you understand by saying that?'' and ``This is the price we charged based on the current condition of the diamond.'' There was no detailed explanation, and it was quite a bit. It became unpleasant. Maybe it was because I was a student that I was treated that way, but I wonder if it was the way I chose my words... I just did the assessment and went home.”

The International House Of Japan

Open until 11:59 PM

5 Chome-11-16 Roppongi, Minato City, Tokyo 106-0032, Japan

“After stopping by the Azabu branch of Minato Ward Office, I stopped by for tea. Although there were many people making reservations, they quickly prepared a table for us (3 people) who were not regulars. I was very impressed with his smart response and sense of speed. The tea and cake set were also delicious.”

1 Chome-17 Kanda Jinbocho, Chiyoda City, Tokyo 101-0051, Japan

“As a HongKonger, I was astonished by the Hong Kong book sections, the posters and decorations are literally work of passions. On top of that, these books are no longer allowed to publish in Hong Kong, I do appreciate that part of history is well preserved and cherished in Japan. Hat off to the Tokyodo staff.”

We could enjoy our trip inside the museum, so much fun & a nice place to create good memories with your children. Then they gave us free drink once we out of museum.”

Angkor Wat

( 8 reviews ) $$
Closed until 11:00 AM

Japan, 〒151-0053 Tokyo, Shibuya City, Yoyogi, 2 Chome−1−1, Shinjuku Maynds Tower, 地下1階

“About 3800 yen total for two so a bit pricey for my budget but the kabocha cake was really good. With the coconut ice cream, it was amazing. Overall, the spices and lemongrass are tastes i don’t get often in Japan so might be good for a change. Just be aware that the taste isn’t completely authentic in order to cater to non-Cambodian people. My Cambodian friend says it’s because Cambodians don’t eat out often. For me, i wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. Just be careful not to order the Chinese dishes thinking it is a Cambodian dish.”

Suginami Animation Museum

Closed until 10:00 AM

Japan, 〒167-0043 Tokyo, Suginami City, Kamiogi, 3 Chome−29−5 杉並会館

“Amazing little place of the history of anime. There’re audio guides for free. Several interactive sections like voice-dubbing and having a go at some stop-motion drawings. Good couple of hours spent there.”

Machida City Museum Of Graphic Arts ( Printmaking )
4
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 10:00 AM

4 Chome-28-1 Haramachida, Machida, Tokyo 194-0013, Japan

“Somehow, English translation of the museum is "Graphic Arts" but at least it is not the general usage of the English term I am aware of. The museum focuses only on printed drawings and paintings like ukiyoe in Japan or engravings in the West. I hope the foreigners do not misunderstand. The exhibitions are consistently very high in quality. The particular exhibition I visited recently let scales fall from my eyes regarding modern ukiyoe.”

Kachidoki Bridge
4.4
( 16 reviews )

Japan, Tokyo, Chuo City, Tsukiji, 6 Chome, ~勝どき1丁目

“I love bridges. The second to last bridge of the Sumida River is 勝鬨橋 Kachidoki Bridge (built 1933-1940) (center drawbridge no longer used). This is my second favorite of the bridges of the Sumida River. (The Kiyosu Bridge is my favorite.) It has a pair of buildings on either side of the unused drawbridge on both sides of the bridge that housed the operators. There is a tunnel for pedestrians to pass beneath the lookout towers as well as a pedestrian balcony around the turrets. These structures rest on the mid-river footings of the bridge. There is a Kachidoki Bridge Museum across from the North West corner of the bridge.”

Prince Shiba Park
4.5
( 8 reviews )

4 Chome-8-1 Shibakoen, Minato City, Tokyo 105-0011, Japan

“The view of Tokyo Tower is beautiful, especially during sunset though the sun is hiding behind the skyscraper. I went there for the third time yesterday (Sep 3) and found out the grass is under maintenance so I headed to the Shiba Park down a stair. Yet the grass there is burnt brown which made me understand why the grass field in Prince Shiba Park always remains green. The view from Shiba Park is not as great as that from Prince Shiba Park as you guys can see from the photo (the scale of Tokyo Tower). There is no information about when the maintenance ends!”

Sato Sakura Museum
4.2
( 8 reviews )

1 Chome-7-13 Kamimeguro, Meguro City, Tokyo 153-0051, Japan

“A museum that exhibits contemporary Japanese paintings. Although there are times when it is a special exhibition in the form of a solo exhibition, it is often the case that works related to the name of the museum, Sakura, are displayed in some way. It's not a very big museum, but I often visit it because there are many beautiful works that are easy to understand.”
