Count Orlok's Nightmare Gallery
4.6
( 8 reviews )

217 Essex St, Salem, MA 01970, United States

“Great wax museum inside the oldest bank building in Salem (1803), and they make use of the old vaults, so it's a unique setup. If you are a fan of horror films and their history, you'll like this place. There are placards throughout the gallery that provide a lot of little known facts/trivia about the actors and films throughout horror cinema history. No photos allowed in the gallery, just in the shop. Gift shop is small, but charming. My daughter and I really enjoyed it.”

“We celebrated our son’s 10th birthday at launch over the weekend and we had the pleasure having James as our host. He was amazing and extremely patient with our large group. We highly recommend doing parties there, the set up and clean up was all taken cared of. I even forgot the candles and they were ready with everything! Thank you Launch Methuen and James for being a great host!”

7 Lynde St, Salem, MA 01970, United States

“This place was our first stop in Salem, just came across it. We did the tour and the show, it was so fun. Our guide seemed to really love his job, he was funny, engaging and stayed in character. The show was great! More fun than history but perfect for the setting. The costumes and actors were awesome. It was inexpensive and entertaining. If you are thinking of trying it, I say do it!”

The Satanic Temple
4.5
( 8 reviews )

64 Bridge St, Salem, MA 01970, United States

“I wasn’t sure what to expect at this temple, but it was a beautiful building in what was formerly a home. There are many spaces with gorgeous art, a library, an apartment that used to be an Airbnb upstairs, and changing art exhibits. I would recommend anyone who is interested in learning more about this religion or seeing some stunning pieces of art. The building itself is also beautifully decorated and has a peaceful fountain and bench outside we enjoyed for a bit. My partner bought a gorgeous mug from the gift shop, and there is a great selection there.”
