“The limes museum in Aalen is a great place to visit. You can look through the indoor exhibition on two floors which tells the story of the Romans in and around Aalen as wells as the development and fall of the limes. Besides original and replicat exponats there are lots of modern information displays and interactive visuals. Outdoors your can walk around the remains of the former Roman camp and take a look at a reconstructed barrack. The indoor part is open till 17:00 on most days and you are allowed to stay in the outdoor section even after closing time.”

“Part of the museum was closed, but it was interesting nonetheless. Takes you through a historical timeline of the company and their products, finishing off with a store that sells Ritter Sport for a ridiculously low price (especially compared to Canada). Unique architecture with colourful glass accents, connected to a large park.”

Burgweg 2, 74245 Löwenstein, Germany
“Beautiful views of the area, a nice snack bar with beer and real glasses to drink it in! Very clean restrooms and a nice picnic area. Beautiful wood sculptures decorate the grounds by local artist.”
Konrad-Adenauer-Straße 16, 70173 Stuttgart, Germany
“Moderately interesting museum showcasing the history of the Baden-Würtemmberg area. Some of the exhibits don't seem to tie together very well and/or feel irrelevant. Additionally, some of the items feel repetitive. For example, there will be a passport from some random soldier from 1939, and then 4 display cases you will find another passport from the same time period. Note these are not significant people, just random documents they've received. Also note that all item descriptions are in German.”
Willi-Bleicher-Straße 19, 70174 Stuttgart, Germany
“Looks pretty, interesting exhibitions, staff not very well informed.”
