London Bus Museum

Brooklands Rd, Weybridge KT13 0QS, United Kingdom

“I had the best time! What an experience. I went with my son's school on a trip and I'm intending on going back ASAP with the rest of the family. The staff were magnificent, interactive with the children and made us feel so welcome with a wealth of knowledge about each thing. There are plenty of interactive activities. If you're a home ed family this is a wonderful place to visit too. Lots of parking and easy to find”

Waverley Abbey
4.6
( 16 reviews )
Open until 05:00 PM

Waverley Ln, Farnham GU9 8EP, United Kingdom

“Off the beaten track but close enough to Farnham to warrant a quick visit, plus it's free, so why not? Interesting site that evokes slightly sad emotions standing in the ruins of a once impressive abbey. There is parking nearby, and a short walk along a path at the side of a picturesque lake will lead you to the site.”

Rural Life Living Museum
4.6
( 8 reviews )

The Reeds Rd, Tilford, Farnham GU10 2DL, United Kingdom

“Fascinating working museum with a wide variety of things to see indoors and out. Exhibits include an operational Wealden iron furnace, reproductions of traditional shops, post war prefab house, cycle workshop, cricket pavilion and much more besides. There's also a working narrow gauge railway providing short rides for an additional charge. There's good signage around the site, and guides on hand to provide more detail and answer questions. Standard ticket prices seemed like good value at £10.75 for adults, £7.75 for children when we visited. Facilities include free on-site parking, a café serving refreshments and lunches, a gift shop and toilets. Dogs on leads are welcome, and opening times are 10:00 - 16:00 between Thursday and Monday. The museum is closed between December 23rd and January 21st. Various events take place throughout the year - we attended the Dennis Vehicle Extravaganza in June 2023 and saw a great selection of vintage, classic and modern buses, fire appliances and cars. Please note the later photos were from this event and these vehicles aren't usually kept at the museum.”

“This is a great gallery to visit which has a small number of rooms to visit. The shows I have seen are well curated with informed volunteers to help with your visit. They also champion local artists. The cafe is well worth as visit with really good quality coffee on sale. There are also interesting craft items for sale. Well worth as visit”

Albury Vineyard
4.7
( 8 reviews )

Vineyard Silent Pool, Albury, Shere Rd, Albury, Guildford GU5 9BW, United Kingdom

“My family and I (group of 11 of us aged 28-78) had the most wonderful experience here at Albury wines on Saturday. We booked a wine and cheese tasting. Our guide George was very warm and welcoming. His knowledge was incredible and really appreciate the extra time he took to answer all of our questions (there were quite a few). We loved the flight of sparkling wines, the cheese was delicious and the extra ‘top up’ glass at the end was the cherry on top. Lucy has been great over email, helping me book the event and all correspondence before/after. Really recommend this as an outing with family/friends!”

Ewbank's
4.2
( 8 reviews )
Open until 05:00 PM

London Rd, Send, Woking GU23 7LN, United Kingdom

“I’ve had a great first experience with Ewbank’s. I was successful in winning several lots from the Retro Video Games & Consoles - The Nintendo Collection auction. The process was incredibly straight forward. James, the video game valuer, communicated greatly with me on several occasions and when I requested condition reports, he did these promptly and with exceptional detail. I could tell he is very passionate about the work he does. Today I collected my games and consoles from Ewbank’s and i was met by James who helped me through the whole process. Eloise, (Receptionist) was such a delight - so friendly and the perfect front of house person to be greeted by. Sarah (Saleroom assistant) helped gather my lots and was polite and professional. I could tell there’s great synergy between the team at Ewbank’s. Thanks to all and see you at the next one.”
