“I noticed this shop through Reverb after spotting a bass that I had been searching for quite awhile. After a 3 hour drive I left with my new best friend. (She might be the best damn bass I own now). Best way to describe Atomic is if Disneyland had a music store. If you like browsing or an absolute treasure hunt this is the place for you. There’s more gear here than you can ever imagine and it will take some time to go through. Best thing…..if you’re not the adventurous type and just happen to know what you want when you walk in, the staff at Atomic Music are totally there to help. If you don’t know they can help with that too! They’ll make you laugh and make you happy. Luis, the owner is top notch. He’s been running Atomic for years and has a handle on how to treat his clientele. (Big Box retailers take note). Though it was my first time at Atomic I was thoroughly impressed. Very laid back vibe to the place and even though it was a Saturday “madhouse”, I never had an issue with receiving help when needed. When it was time to purchase I was out quickly. In the end I left with a gorgeous, vintage bass for a really, really, good price. (No joke….a really good deal). The only thing that would make me happier is if I lived closer though I’d probably be broke if I did.”

After I called, h kindly took down numerous basses for me to try out before I made my decision on which on to buy. He gave helpful information on all of my options and it was a great experience shopping there. I’m super happy with the bass and it plays excellently! I’d highly recommend visiting their website before showing up because they have a massive selection that is unseen. Then call ahead and they’ll help you get some more things to play while you’re there.”

“I live over an hour from Austin and, while there are numerous higher-end guitar shops in my region, they're pretty far from my rural home. Since there's no way for them to compete with online guitar venues like Reverb or eBay, and, though they themselves have a presence on these very venues, I've never once seen them offer "best price". This is because they have the music capital of the world, Austin, and thousands of local guitarists at their disposal. That's great for them and I applaud their good fortune. For a guitar store, few hunting grounds are as productive as those surrounding Austin and San Antonio, so these shops haven't experienced the full brunt of being forced to transition from brick and mortar to internet driven sales. But they're getting better and I still support them, even if it costs me more to do so. In walk the online shops that work harder to achieve a more global, online business presence. Located in the North Dallas area, Tone Shop is the most recent shop I've done business with. Just yesterday I worked a deal with them and got my newest guitar for half-price. The deal was struck completely by text and, Chad, was the knowledgeable salesperson manning the sales phone. Awesome fellow to work with. We exchanged half a dozen messages and I got to where I wanted to go and said I yes to the offer. Within minutes I had a streamlined invoice and had the guitar paid for. I'd asked that the shop setup the guitar to my specifications and minutes later my new guitar was with the shop technician, performing the work. This meant that my order for service was expedited and I got a prompt by email telling me so followed by a text from Chad, who remained in constant touch with me at every point, until the guitar was shipped an hour later. He then texted that I let him know what I thought of the guitar once received and thanking me, on a personal level, for my purchase. I have since been in touch. I received a UPS tracking number just moments later and an update this morning indicating the guitar was already in San Marcos (15 miles from my home) and was slated for delivery today. The shop is 300 miles away, so this could only happen if they pay a premium for shipping, which, they do. In essence, what takes most online shops to do in five days (including shipping) was done in a single day! I found this to be truly amazing! This shop is technologically further along than many I've dealt with and seems to have he people who know how to drive that system. Tone Shop is a 21st century guitar shop and an example of just how well the e-commerce concept works when done to an art form. And, there was still a salesperson driving the process, providing seamless service far better than if we'd been face to face in a brick and mortar store. He was in constant contact with me for two hours, from inquiry to sale, to shipping, to personal follow-through after the guitar had shipped.”

“Friendly staff. Great teachers. Solid selection. Every experience I've had going into Kline has been great. They do a good job of covering a lot of musical categories. They have guitars, basses, keyboards, ukuleles, harps, saxophones, French horns, trumpets, trombones, cellos, violins, bongos, percussion stuff, and even a few oddities from around the world. The only thing that comes to mind that some might consider a negative is that most of their instruments come from the same brands. For example, they have a decent selection of bass guitars, but they are all Fender, Yamaha, and a couple from Gretsch. So if you're looking for a specific brand, give them a call before popping in to see if they carry that brand. I love the place and would highly recommend giving them a visit.”

Karl is awesome, knowledgeable and keeps a stock that is world class. I live in New York now, and even the stores there don’t carry what Tune Town does. Prices are always fair and conversation always knowledgeable. 10/10.”

“Every time I go to this place, I feel that I should have packed a lunch. I could spend lots of time here. I never leave without carrying out something.. (strings, music stand, 12-string Yamaha, Acoustic 6-string, Capos, Strap, Bass Amp, etc) The acumen of the staff is keen. Once knowing my needs (multi-track recorder) they intervened and prevented me from dropping cash on an item that would not have been the appropriate choice, and instead, gave me some proper "schooling" on what would be more relevant, placed me on a watch and notify list. AND advising me to reload and update the drivers on my DAW. I recently took a vintage guitar in for an evaluation and within 15 minutes, the staff not only identified the make, year, and value of this 52-year-old dot neck ES 335 Lawsuit instrument online, but provided me with photographs (DNA). I'm Telling my friends and going in again...(and again)”

Can't make sales if you don't have Product to sale I just left there and they only had one item on the hot bar and told me it would be hours before pizza would be ready”

“My Clarinets crack had been “fixed” twice previously. Once by the manufacturer under warranty and once by an experienced woodwind technician. Neither had completely repaired my instrument. I took my clarinet to Sarah last week and she fixed it completely and perfectly in a fraction of the time it took for my other repairs. It took her only around 3 hours and now it plays perfectly. The staff are incredible and there’s a large supply of products to get lost looking through.”

“I'm from Pa. My parents went on a 16hr road trip to Indianapolis and back to Pa. They agreed to stopping at a liqour store for me. I called Liqour and Wine Warehouse a minute after they opened and one of the nice employees grabbed my parents a bottle of Jack Daniel's Bonded Rye for only $31.99(unavailable in Pa)!! A bottle of Jack Daniels single BBP at $65.99 for a nice 127proof!! And Woodford Reserve Double Oaked for only $55.99!! All before taxes. They put it to the side for me prior to my parents getting there. My parents stopped at Liqour and Wine Warehouse grabbed the bottles and were in and out. Fantastic staff, Great customer service!, good prices, Allocated drops usually on Mondays!! If your coming off the highway and back up east it's 5 out of 5 must drive off the highway and back on!!! Cheaper then Fine Wine and Good Spirits(Pa)!! I would recommend calling ahead if you are looking for only allocated products though.”
