“We found Jack when looking around for places to have dinner and the menu looked super interesting! The food was good and the portions were big enough. I had the medium salad with baked mushrooms and a Verdejo wine to go with it. The salad dressing was nicely balanced, but I think the beets were just the usual vacuum packed ones you can get at the supermarket. For starters we had the garlic bread and the bread with butter and olive oil, I think the garlic bread could definitely benefit from having more garlic! The "gold" burger was certainly interesting, but beware... while it was tasty it stains your fingers. I guess the star of the night was the seafood platter for 2 people. It looked impressive and the taste was also fine. The service was a bit slower than avarage but the staff was nice and friendly. Would recommend for the seafood and the atmosphere.”

“Located centrally in Amsterdam. We went for salsa dancing. When we arrived a woman was in the entrance. Super friendly and explained the hours and coat check in. Dancing was great. Music was amazing. The dj did an amazing job with music selection. I was able to enjoy the music but still have a conversion since it wasn't to loud. My ears were not ringing at the end of the night. Lights were good. I loved that they didn't move! Pricing was good for drinks. People were friendly. Overall a great night out!”

“The best thing about Complex is the location in the city centre of Maastritch. The club on the inside is also good. However, it is not worth it at all, especially the security guards are nasty and don't hesitate to kick you out if u wear informal clothes without any refund and in case u enter, they make you pay a locker even if you wear a little bag (for some stupid reason it is not allowed to wear them inside).”

He told us that only Dutch language is spoken inside, I thought that was a bad joke, he said “this is not a joke”. So we went to another place where we were welcomed. Unbelievable experience in Amsterdam in almost 2024!!!! Update: Replying to your answer in my review, I deny what you say about the bouncer saying “only Dutch music inside” you’re a lier and racist. The bouncer said clearly “only Dutch language is spoken inside” and he did not allow us to go in cause we were talking English. I told him “this is a joke” cause I thought it was and I laughed. He said “this is not a joke” . My friend and I, as foreigners visiting your country and city would not mind to listen Dutch music because that’s why we are in this country for. But this place and the bouncer only wants local people talking Dutch. Reading the other reviews about this place is easy to conclude the way this place treats people and foreigners and the person who replies all the reviews always has an answer to every review and always evade these kind of behaviours. Do not come here people, there are a lot of better places around where you will be welcomed.”
