“Gryphon is a cool place to hang out. The atmosphere and aesthetics are absolutely on point for all those who like a metal bar/pub. Good music, mood lighting and incredible decoration. Not to mention you'll always find good beer. As a huge fan of stouts, I have never not been impressed by The Gryphons range of drinks however I have no doubt they have a great pint for anyone! Not a huge amount of seating space and no beer garden but these are small complaints for a place that gets everything else so right!”

“We went here for the day after valentines for dinner and drinks and was such a treat! The camembert was delicious and the charcuterie board too. We were tempted by dessert and the crème brûle was good and the baked Alaska too. The wine was on the pricey side for a glass but the whole atmosphere and decor added to the experience. Glad we went and would reccomend for a special occasion. Romantic.”

“I have been clubbing for 15 years now and this place tops them all. There are not many I haven’t been to all over the world and this place blew my socks off. Where to start? Greeted at the door by a friendly bunch of staff and that didn’t end there, all the staff in the club were also friendly and approachable. This is a rarity in the club scene. The queue moved fast. Cameras on phones appropriately covered up which resulted in no phones in the crowd. A big positive for the dance floor. Two great rooms to dance in, room 2 felt very personal, room 1 had a podium for those that like a better view of the room, plenty of chill out space. Smoking terrace and bars everywhere, so we hardly had to queue for a drink. The lights and sound system both incredible and the crowd to match. Not one bad soul in there. Just everyone having the best time. Great locker system in place for your belongings. Best club in London by miles. I’m only gutted I hadn’t been here sooner, but I’ll be making a lot of trips down from Manchester just to dance here. Great work from all involved. That is how it’s done. Nothing but love for you guys. Thank you”

“Best pub in Shoreham-by-sea. A fantastic selection of beer at very reasonable prices. At my last visit it had around 8 cask beers (pales, stouts, IPAS, a slightly odd one and a delicious pale that is brewed exclusively for the pub). They also have keg beers. A highlight is the wheat beer. They serve everything in appropriate glassware. The vibe of the place is relaxed and friendly, it's a "proper" pub with a mix of ages and drunk levels! It's USP is the live music which is most nights, the beer garden is also lovely.”

“Always a good night with live music and friendly people. The only thing that let's this venue down is the horrific smell of bad drains that greets you at the door from the toilets. It is constantly wafted through the whole pub as the connecting doors are opened and closed. It's been like this for over 12 months, it stinks!! So come on guys it's time you got it properly replaced and all offending material removed by a professional company.”

“Our first visit, definitely won't be the last!! Plenty of choice from 3 menus, we went for the a la carte. Staff were very helpful and attentive, food was delicious and portion size was just right. The one thing I would recommend is booking a table, there were no spares on the night that we went (Tuesday) All in all, a brilliant night, can recommend it to everyone (especially if you like fishy dishes 😊)”
