Mason Dixon Distillery

( 8 reviews ) $$
Closed until 12:00 PM

331 E Water St, Gettysburg, PA 17325, United States

“Have you ever been to a place where the employees were more interested in being your friend than just trying to sell you something? There is no doubt you will feel welcomed here! This distillery is a tucked in little gem. Very comfortable cozy vibe! The staff was very engaging and just excited you're there. There are tons of gluten free options available. I'm coming back for sure! The only thing I could complain about is that it's not closer to home😉 Well deserved 5 stars 🌟”

Chris' Jazz Cafe
4.5
( 10 reviews ) $$

1421 Sansom St, Philadelphia, PA 19102, United States

“This is a smaller resturant but doesn’t feel over crowded. We bought the dinner/jazz entertainment show package and it’s worth every penny. The taste of the dood was one of the best I’ve ever had. Very small portions, it’s more for looks than anything. The jazz performers was nothing less than amazing. They’re true performers and really knows how to interacted with the crowd.”

( 8 reviews ) $$

165 Gateway Dr, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050, United States

“- this place was pretty nice overall, had good food and drinks. Also the bands I went to see were amazing. - service was pretty good. - place was clean and organized. - prices not that bad for everything. - parking is free and have a decent amount of spots. - live music sounds pretty good but gets extremely loud sometimes for the size of the place. - overall a good first experience here.”

The Wicked Googly
4.3
( 16 reviews ) $$

209 W Main St, Ligonier, PA 15658, United States

“This place is pretty cool. It's a bowling alley/ bar/ restaurant and they serve breakfast sometimes. I've never been here before but I was visiting a friend who lives here and we met there for breakfast. The food was really good and I would definitely be back if I only lived closer! I am four and a half hours away from this place so if you're anywhere nearby definitely pay a visit. It was fabulous.”

“The tap room has moved to a new location that is hard to find but once you find it l, it's with visiting. There is plenty of parking. The tap room was full and lively when I visited. It's also dog friendly. There was a wide variety of beers and they are all very well done.”

Saint Lazarus Bar
4.3
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 08:00 AM

102 W Girard Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19123, United States

“This establishment deserves a higher rating than google would allow. The Saint is a staple of the Philadelphia community & embodies what Philly is all about. From its under-the-El location, to its metaphysical aesthetics, to the attentive & friendly staff to the top notch DJ’S & (most importantly) the crowd, this place is where it’s at. If you’re from out of town (or local & curious), stop in later on a Tuesday night or roll in Thursday-Saturday for a serious vibe, you won’t be disappointed.”

Tourist Inn
4.4
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 11:00 AM

671 W Market St, Hallam, PA 17406, United States

“Worst experience ever. The staff has no responsibility and gave my CC away, when i raised concerns, I got barred. Not like I would ever go there again. They will put hands on you to the point that I am calling my lawyer tomorrow.”

Newberry's Yard Of Ale
4.1
( 16 reviews ) $$

622 Main St, Stroudsburg, PA 18360, United States

“I’m going to start this off by saying two stars is a little harsh - the food was decent. Not great, but decent. The service however, at no fault of the TWO servers (one being the bartender) in a rather large pub in a busy “tourist” area on a Saturday afternoon, was frustrating. Upon arrival on a whim after checking out the posted menu, we waited for a bit without being greeted or acknowledged by staff who were clearly working hard to serve those already seated at a table or the bar. In fact, the lone floor server was being asked by the bartender to try and call more staff in as they were barely treading water. We almost ended up turning right back around but as we were making the decision, the friendly server ushered us to a table. Our drink order was taken pretty quickly and those of us that ordered beer received our drinks within a reasonable amount of time. The poor soul that ordered a root beer waited almost 15 minutes before we finally went to the bar to get the soda. We also had to ask for water a few times before it finally made its way to our table. We ordered our food, subbing fries for the chips that came with our meals, and the food arrived again within a reasonable amount of time. When we started eating, we realized quickly that a few of the specifications we had asked for (just two omissions in two sandwiches) were incorrect but given the state of the place we didn’t say anything and just dealt with it. The entrees themselves were decent as stated above but surprisingly bland - no salt, pepper, or much of anything on the proteins, and very meager portions of fries/chips to accompany them. When the bill came we were surprised to see we were charged full price for subbing fries for chips, a full $5 extra on top of the price of each entree. Note - they boast a “32 craft beer!” selection while actually maintaining a list of about 17-20. Overall, this was unfortunately not a great experience though again I have to say that our servers truly seemed to be doing their best in a situation that should have been foreseen by management. In summary, you’re looking at high prices for meager portions of “just okay” food. In the end, I would say you might be better off checking out one of the many other pubs and restaurants within walking distance.”

Graffiti Bar
4.3
( 16 reviews ) $$
Closed until 04:00 AM

124 S 13th St, Philadelphia, PA 19107, United States

“A friend told me about this bar so when my husband and I visited Philly this past weekend, we decided to drop by. We came during happy hour and were lucky we didn’t have to wait too long for seats to become available. We only got drinks but they were good and very reasonably priced. We saw people next to us order food from their happy hour menu and they looked good, smelled good, and seemed like a decent amount of food for the price! Ambiance is also very cute. Only complaint is that no server came to us and we had to keep going to the bar to order. I’d come back next time we are in Philly to try their food though.”

The Beacon Hotel
4.2
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 03:00 AM

231 Beacon Rd, Renfrew, PA 16053, United States

“Went with a few friends before experiencing the Haunted corn maze and other Halloween festivities. The bar & restaurant area only had a few people, yet we had to grab our own menus from the bar. My burger (cooked medium) was among the driest things I've ever eaten. Fresh cut fries would have been good if they weren't also overcooked and dry. Two others got the steak hoagie which they struggled to make it half way through. A drink would have helped with the dryness of the food but the bartender continuously walked past empty drinks on the ledge. Halloween attractions were good but we'll eat elsewhere next time.”

O'jung's Tavern Bar
4.7
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 11:00 AM

1625 S 2nd St, Philadelphia, PA 19148, United States

“The food was reasonably priced and very good. The drinks are pretty solid and also very reasonably priced. Server was very nice and willing to ask the kitchen about a friend’s gluten intolerance. Tip: you’ll either need need cash or or Venmo.”

The East End
4.5
( 16 reviews ) $$

1903 Bethlehem Pike, Hatfield, PA 19440, United States

“My husband, our son, and I went to The East End for dinner on Tuesday. My husband is a huge crab leg fan, so I wanted him to try out the all you can eat crab legs that they offer on Tuesdays. I will note that this restaurant is not handicapped accessible at all. There is a handicapped parking spot, but it's on an incline, which can be hard to deal with and even hazardous. There are stairs leading up from the outside door to a landing with 2 inside doors, which is a bit confusing. There is a step up to the hallway where the bathroom is, and the stalls are standard, no handicapped accessible ones. The dining space is tight, too, so it's hard to move around even without a mobility device. Despite the lack of handicapped accessibility, it is a nice restaurant. It has a clean open feeling even with close tables. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. It is kid friendly, though they don't have regular drinks listed on the menu as they focus on alcohol. It's a little pricey with higher end items like Angus steak burgers, crab legs, and cheese steak egg rolls, but it is worth it.”

The Barbary
4.2
( 8 reviews ) $$

951 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19125, United States

“Pretty good venue for themed nights. They have an upstairs and downstairs and both levels have a roomy dance floor. It still gets crowded especially on weekends so be prepared to bump shoulders with people. Bar staff is super friendly! Coat check staff is sad/unfriendly.”

“Good atmosphere. Went on a Monday around 7pm & there was Trivia night and karaoke which was really fun. Food wasn’t that great. All the workers were nice.”

210 N 2nd St, Harrisburg, PA 17101, United States

“Definitely the coolest bar in town the out door seating is cool fire pits and games all over. Wouldn't think a place like this would be downtown, but it's a lively place with a lot going on. I definitely recommend checking it out if you get a chance.”

Doggie's Pub
4
( 8 reviews ) $$

108 S Pugh St, State College, PA 16801, United States

“One of the two best bars in downtown State College Pennsylvania now! Particularly when it is nice out the outdoor area is amazing but they do a great job even during the cold weather having a tent and it still has the old Vibe of The Rathskeller inside”

Enclave
