“We swung by Clover Club while we were in Brooklyn. It's one of the top 50 best bars in North America, and it didn't disappoint. The neighborhood had a fantastic vibe, even though we were there at night. I can totally see why folks love it. The bar was buzzing, but it was a tad dimly lit for my taste. However, the cocktails were a hit. They've got quite an extensive menu. Sadly, our bellies were already bursting, so we couldn't dive into the food. But rumor has it, their grub is top-notch too.”

“We went for a late lunch at 2 pm on a Friday. By that time the summer crowd was just beginning to thin and we were seated immediately. I ordered Buffalo chicken tenders which came with a side of fries. Although the chicken was plentiful, the over-cooked, dark-brown tenders were far from being tender. What made them just edible was the excellent buffalo wing sauce. The fries on the other hand were inedible. My guess is that they sat under a heat lamp so long they were dried out in the middle, limp, and only slightly above room temp when delivered. Our waitress was very busy and didn't check back with us after serving our food, so I wasn't able to point out the problem until the bill was presented and she noticed I hadn't eaten the fries. She apologized and kindly brought out an order of their excellent macaroni salad to go. My wife fared much better with a roast beef sandwich and a side of the macaroni salad. My feeling about this restaurant is that the kitchen does not practice adequate quality control and the wait staff are asked to cover too many tables, so your experience may be hit or miss. UPDATE-1: We had much better luck on our second visit to this restaurant during Skaneateles Restaurant Week. The french fries we're hot and crisp and the beef sandwich was excellent. Increased my rating from 2 stars to 4 stars.”

“A friend found a book that listed 100 things one should do in Rochester in your life and the Spirit Room was one of those experiences listed. We went with another couple and we are a few years older than their normal clientele. All I can say is we had a wonderful time, the decor can only be described as esoteric, from fun to morbid. You can entertain yourself just looking at the collection of wares. Food was excellent, started with loaded fries, and the fries were perfectly cooked and toppings we tasty. The 4 meals we had were all tasty and servings good size. Cocktails were different and tasty. We will be back, probably the most enjoyable evening out in a long time, and we go out several times a month.”

We spent about an hour looking for places in queens and fell into this lovely bar/lounge! The staff is incredible, the music is amazing and the food is delicious!! And let me not forget about the amazing hookah they set up! The staff made sure we were prepared for the beautiful drinks they were bringing so we can get our Insta pics!
