“I have been clubbing for 15 years now and this place tops them all. There are not many I haven’t been to all over the world and this place blew my socks off. Where to start? Greeted at the door by a friendly bunch of staff and that didn’t end there, all the staff in the club were also friendly and approachable. This is a rarity in the club scene. The queue moved fast. Cameras on phones appropriately covered up which resulted in no phones in the crowd. A big positive for the dance floor. Two great rooms to dance in, room 2 felt very personal, room 1 had a podium for those that like a better view of the room, plenty of chill out space. Smoking terrace and bars everywhere, so we hardly had to queue for a drink. The lights and sound system both incredible and the crowd to match. Not one bad soul in there. Just everyone having the best time. Great locker system in place for your belongings. Best club in London by miles. I’m only gutted I hadn’t been here sooner, but I’ll be making a lot of trips down from Manchester just to dance here. Great work from all involved. That is how it’s done. “I don’t drink that much and am not keen on “pub vibes”.. but personally I felt comfortable while being here. Staffs were attentive and helpful, and even offered us a free pint of Kronenburg for the delayed pizza. I had read several reviews saying that the pizzas are good before visiting. They’re not lying and I won’t lie either. It was undoubtedly one of the best pizzas in my whole life. It was more than worth the wait. Simple but top notch flavour with good ingredients.”

“🚇 Nine Elms 🍺 £5.75 Freedom Lager ❤️ One of London’s most uniquely decorated pubs. . The Cavendish Arms is located in a residential area in the western part of Stockwell. Nine Elms is the nearest tube and is just over a five minute walk away. . This pub’s architecture is typical 1960’s estate pub, this type of pub is ever becoming a rare sight on the London pub landscape these days. . This is a two room pub, the left hand side is used as a comedy club, live music and events venue, the right hand side is the main bar. . Now on to the decor, if you can imagine if DFS had a showroom in Soho in the 1970’s then I think it might look a bit like this, this place is absolute bananas. There is every different type of sofa, soft furnishing, flowery rug and trinket you can think off all of which are covered in fairy lights. At the front of the pub are a few gazebo’s with yet more sofas to relax in over the warmer months. . The beer line up was pretty good which included one real ale and a few craft brews. I decided to go off piste and tried the Freedom Lager, it was a decent pint and pleasingly under six nicker. . We arrived not long after opening just after 4pm on a Saturday afternoon. We were the first punters in and to say we were amazed by our surroundings was an understatement. We got chatting to the very welcoming Guv’nor who was telling us all about his pub of which he is very proud of. We popped next door to check out the events area, it is a good size space complete with stage. . @thecavendisharmsstockwell is a very unique boozer which is all about having a bit of fun. This place is definitely the case where the collars don’t match the cuffs, the inside and outside of the pub couldn’t be more different. This is definitely a must visit pub just for the decor alone. “Everything’s absolutely stellar, except the horrible girl in a massive faux fur coat who threatened to kick me out of the club at 3am because I was sat down against a wall as my back was killing me. However the drink prices are a bit steep. Other than that, bar staff are lovely, it’s an amazing venue, and amazing live music.”

“This place is amazing. It's the quickest bar in the west, I bought a couple of rounds last night, I didn't wait more 10 seconds to be served, and that in a very busy bar . Friendly, lovely atmosphere, nice crowd, and the music is always of a high quality. I can't recommend it enough. Brilliant venue, brilliant staff. Don't listen to all the negative reviews, you aren't charged entry, so expect to pay for drinks. This is how it's always been, it's a pub, not a park. It isn't free. I had a chat with the landlord and he seemed like a lovely guy, but he isn't a charity. We need places like this, we've lost so many of them.”

“Incredibile roast with an asian twist! Came on a sunday to celebrate a birthday and booked the entire top floor room as we were group of 11.. The roast was incredible! It had an amazing flavour that moves slightly away from traditional flavours as it added a but of chinese taste to it. Menu changes weekly which makes it interesting to come back. Service was really attentive too. Roast prices are around 23£ per person so a bit pricey but you definitely pay for quality. Matcha tiramisu was delicious! Drinks prices are average but you get good quality in return.. Would surely recommend booking as there aren’t many tables and gets booked easily.”

“Pains me quite a lot to update my review having been local to the pub for the last 10 years. There's been a lot of change over the last few years but at the moment there's definitely improvements needed. It's by no means all negative, I do love the atmosphere and they have a great drink selection. What's really letting it down at the moment are a few things...the bar is severely understaffed. On a quiet period it's completely fine but on weekends, quiz night etc having 2 people run food as well as serve at the bar is disastrous. On a full night every time I wanted to order a drink I was waiting 10-15mins. The staff are struggling! Not rude, but run off their feet and are visibly stressed to the point where no apologies for late food, slow service etc, they're just trying to keep up! Food arrived cold, no apologies or engagement, and then 30mins later told kitchen can't accept any more orders as they're busy. Also prices are now very very high. I don't believe inflation and taxes are a valid excuse as you can genuinely get a cheaper drink in central London from a non chain pub. As I say, there's been a lot of change over the last few years so I hope I can update my review in the near future”

“I/ We have stayed at the Kilburn Arms many times both for work and pleasure. We have had some really good stays, good food/ entertainment. However, I feel that the food has gone considerably downhill and the service has lacklustre - bringing out Starters and Mains at the same time is a No-No and then leaving Fish & Chips on the Hotplate makes them dry and stale. The attention to detail has all but gone. If I want to stay at the Kilburn I usually send a WhatsApp message to the very friendly Landlady (Evie) but even her replies have become hit & miss. The Kilburn usually has some good entertainment in the evenings which can be really enjoyable. The rooms are clean, warm and spacious, but now seem to be lacking simple maintenance, for example, the sink plug missing, no Mirror in room, Shower hose burst and spurting out everywhere. We usually pay £90 per room for two people, this does NOT include any Breakfast. I like coffee after a meal, but this time even the Coffee machine was broken and the staff were moaning about how old it is and that it never works. We will return, but for now we will be looking for a new venue to stay at. We hope that the Kilburn can get it together again soon as it can be a really good venue.”
