“The massage therapist who worked on me was great. The experience was relaxing and great. My training partner told me his experience was the same. The decor was nice. The room was nice and well appointed. The hot towel was nice. The salt room looked cool, however I really don’t know if it did anything for my lungs or health. Kind of one of those things you have to research about I guess. We only booked the salt room for 30 minutes and was told that someone would come by and get us at the end of 30 minutes. No one came to get us and I was actually supposed to run errands so I just got up to leave in a hurry. The only thing that really pissed me off was the fact that my training partner during checkout was asked several times to tip 20% based on the total of the massage AND salt room which the masseuses were not involved in any way. The salt room is a machine and not the icing on the cake experience you would expect. My partner tipped 18% on the services we received which is what I consider a good tip for our experience. After he had done so the admin or owner gave him attitude about it. Usually when we go to massage spas they always say, “Thank you. We appreciate your business. Please come and see us again.” Instead my training partner got a sour look from the admin or owner and was inappropriately asked to increase the tip several times. Look he tipped 18% on the services of the masseuse NOT the salt room. It was an okay experience because we get lots of massages all the time from spas all over the world and the ending just kind of turned it into a terrible experience from a professional standpoint on the admin and not reflective of the massage therapists.”

“I would give them a 5. But $12 for an eyebrow wax don’t look like my eye brows been touched. I’m use to it looking like an arch and a shape. I’m also use to them waxing between the brows. Just don’t pay for a wax not worth it. They aren’t trained for it. However the customer service was awesome. The pedicure was very slow and not rushed even though they were busy. They were extremely nice the whole time. I love my toes and nails. A little bit pricey but the customer service is unmatched. I know to get my eyebrows done else where”

“Came across this establishment by chance and I'm so happy that we stopped. I needed to find a nail spa closer to my home when I'm unable to make it to my normal technician in PTC. The inside is very nice, bright and clean. The owner and technicians who serviced us were accommodating especially with me having my 2 daughters (7 and 3) with me. They made us feel at home and welcomed even when my girls begin to get restless waiting on me to be finished. They all did a great job with our nails and took extra special care with my babies which goes a long way with me. Tracy was extremely nice. She listened to my requests and fulfilled them with no problem. We also had great conversation that was not forced or uncomfortable like some can be. The black woman(I'm so sorry I didn't get her name) did a great job on my oldest nails and she was/is in love with her nails. All around it was a great experience and I already booked my next appt so I'll be back for sure!! I may even get a Pedi on this go round. Thanks again for your great service and hospitality!!”

“After searching all weekend for a black owned nail salon nearby, I had a fantastic first visit to Soak & Polish for my gel manicure! From when I walked into the door, I received a warm welcome and offered a drink. I loved the decor and the lovely vibe. Zae also a manager, was amazing and did a wonderful job grooming my nails, which weren't in the best shape. She was also sweet, kind and thorough in my manicure. They also have a nice selection of scrubs made in house and I enjoyed the lemon grass one and can't wait to try others! I will definitely be a regular to this gem. And can't wait to come back next for a pedicure plus another manicure!”

“I use to got here I remember why I stopped. Got a fill in and pedicure yesterday they told me $90 for a fill-in! That was the first red flag. The lady comes with pedicure but she will not allow me to hold it. She’s only showing me pedicures that are $70 plus. I told her that I’m a returning customer and this is not all of the pedicures that they have so she shows me the others I decide on a $60 jelly pedicure plus $40 for a refill acrylic on my toes. She tried to tell me that my nails will be $130 just for my toes . 60 + 40= 100 where did the other 30 come from . When I correct her attitude changes and say I can’t get jelly , so I asked how much is a regular pedicure she says $30 but 30+40= 70 . Still charged me 100 for my toes and 90 for my nails… it’s hasn’t even been 12 hours and these are my nails……”

“We won’t go back. I went in with my teen daughter (who has never done acrylics) for her to get acrylics for a school dance and me to get a pedicure. My daughter got taken care of quickly, and my pedicure had finally just started when she came over to show me her nails that we both liked. I asked her to go ahead and pay for hers since I would be a while longer, and she texted me that she was charged $70 instead of the $50 we planned. The price posted for a full set was $40 plus we knew there would be an extra maybe $10 for French tips. I told her I would ask about the high charge when I checked out. My pedicure was really only more of a soak in the foot bath and then a polish; very little other time was spent on my feet. When I went to pay my $34 for the most basic pedicure and asked to get more information about my daughter’s charge, the ladies started yelling across the store. I did not want to cause a scene, so I walked over to the lady who did my daughter’s nails and asked why it was so much. I was informed the tech did gel on my daughter’s tips. She admitted that my daughter did not ask for gel nor did she tell my daughter she was doing gel. If I had been nearer to her I would have seen what was going on and could have spoken up, but my daughter did not know the difference. Even still, the charge should have only been $60 ($50 is posted for a full set with gel), not $70. The tech yelled to me that I should have told them up front that I only wanted to pay $50. I told her that the client should be asked what type of polish they want. I also asked her if my daughter could get a discount since she was a student because the nail tech working on the pedicure beside me told her client about the discount. My daughter’s technician said I would have to take any discount up with the owner. I had to ask who that was. The owner was pointed out to me who was close enough to hear everything that had gone on. I explained to the owner that my daughter did not ask for gel nails and would love to use her student discount. The owner acted like she didn’t hear me. It was becoming an embarrassing scene, so I went to the counter, paid for my pedicure and left. Never to return. Very disappointed in the customer service we received. We were not trying to get a “deal” or get something for nothing and were willing to pay for our services, but when my daughter was duped and we questioned it, we were ignored, yelled at, and embarrassed.”

“I went to this business because my regular nail shop was closed. My first service was great. I received a fill-in and pedicure with gel polish. However, when I returned to have two of my nails repaired because the polish was bubbling a week later, the service was atrocious! I was asked multiple times if I got my nails done there ( why would I come to your business to fix a service that you didn’t do?). Not only was I charged for the repair that was due to the uneven filing of the nail, I was told by nail technician to not come back! Unbelievable! I have never been treated so poorly! I didn’t need for him(David) to tell me that. That was a one and only time! I have a nail tech (American nails). I was treated as though I did something wrong. If my polish had not bubbled and fallen off, I would not need a repair. I know you don’t care, but you should treat your customers with respect at all times.”
