“I loved walking through this garden, it’s a hidden gem in the city. Peaceful, serene and isolated on a Tuesday afternoon. I only saw 2 other people there. Great place to sit and meditate. The pond has really pretty koi in it, too. Not dog or bike friendly so make sure to keep those out.”

Bess Bower Dunn Museum Of Lake County

( 8 reviews )

1899 W Winchester Rd, Libertyville, IL 60048, United States

“Great place for a short family day out and interested to know about the history of lake county. Visiting whole place should not take more than 30 min - 1 hour. There is a big replica of dinosaur, the drawing of Batman and many other superheroes. I went with my son, he enjoyed quite. I plan to go visit again with more time to go through the detailed of history of lake county. Parking is free, and there is lot of parking space. However, there is no cafe, but there is lunch area if you are bringing food from home. There is some vending machine though.”
