“The drinks and vibes were amazing! I also went in the ballpit and that was super fun. Music was lit and people were jamming along and all good vibes. Amazing place. Highly recommend. They also have a coat / bag area you pay $3 for your stuff to be held until you pick it up. Will definitely be back!!”

“we used to have all our work holiday luncheons, video extravagances at 5801 till last year when someone in management decided some dry hotel rent a hall would be so much better, it is not. We loved the food, the bartenders, the forever preserved corny and less corny Christmas videos, photos on the decorated outside deck while freezing. We loved all of it. We miss it. If you work place wants to have an event here, please do.”

“I originally booked another brunch party in the city to celebrate my birthday but the venue cancelled two days before my event “via text”. I immediately went to Rec & Royals site in hopes of availability last minute for my party of 12. Thankfully it was and let me tell you, my friends and I had an AMAZING TIME! My section was spacious, the host was polite and very accommodating! The reason I gave a 4 star instead of 5 is because of the buffet style brunch. The food was ok but the lines were long and it took awhile for the food to be refilled. They had DJ Casper as the DJ, he was in tune with the crowd and my friends and I danced the entire time. It was fun and I really enjoyed my birthday! I will definitely be back!”

“Been to this bar a couple of times when visiting Philly. Really enjoyed each visit. If you enjoy a piano bar, this one is really nice. The drinks are good, and when I was there, the piano was wonderful. Terrific piano player, who had a lot of music books for people to choose from if they wanted to exercise their pipes. The player was great, and had a terrific voice and style. A very good song stylist. Drinks are good, and the bartenders attentive and quick. There is a restaurant downstairs (reachable from separate entrance from the street) that was excellent! And if you're lucky enough to have John as your waiter, it's even nicer. I'd highly recommend the Lo Mein dish! Overall, a very fun place to spend an evening!”
