“This is a very cool speakeasy bar in a great neighbourhood in Amsterdam. The cocktails are not cheap, at 14€ a pop, but they are well worth it! Both of our cocktails were boozy and extremely tasty. The Mai Thai style one, served in a cute monkey cup, was absolutely delicious and seemed to never end. Personally, I loved the old fashioned style cocktail, which features smoked peat, and is served to you in a wooden box which, upon opening, smoke billows out. It embues the cocktail with a beautiful smokiness. I’m just sad I didn’t know it was coming, otherwise I would have got it in video.”

“Great cocktail experience with superb service. A good variety of cocktails with good alcohol forward flavours. A little bit on. The expensive side but totally worth it. We arrived soon after they opened and sure it filled up quite quick. So either book in advance or arrive early as a pre dinner.”

“I'm not normally the sort of person who spends 15+ EUR on a cocktail, but the service was brilliant. The staff were lovely. Very attentive and friendly without feeling forced. The ambience was cosy. The cocktails were really special and unique. If I had to say one area they could improve, it would have been nice if they had some nibbles. Some peanuts or pretzels or something. However, it was overall an extremely pleasant experience and I will surely return.”

“The best rock music bar in Zwolle, period. Been coming here for years now, and I can only recommend the great ambience, staff and fellow visitors. It's a music bar so live events are quite common here. If you're into rock/metal be sure to pay the bar a visit. The owners also have a blues bar right next to this cafe, called Honky Tonk Jack's.”

I came here twice throughout my stay in Utrecht, and it was such a relaxing spot to stay. The other reviews have mentioned them, but the cats were a joy to spend time with. “Cosy tap room with a decent selection of locally brewed beers as well as guest appearances on tap, plus more in bottles. Also gin and spirits. Bottles of both and merch to purchase. Eclectic decor inside, with comfy armchairs and sofas, as well as regular tables to sit at. Seating also available outside, with great views of the marina. Tasty bitterballen in both regular and vegetarian versions, great soup too.”
