“On a wednesday night, my friend and I decided to try out this place. The name sounded more like you’d eat a steak but even better! They have shisha and arabic food! yuuum…We ate before going there so we didnt order much, but the menu had so many things we wanted to try! We end up ordering an appetizer of fried calamari (a must try…it was delish!!) and we both had a bloody ceasar, good job bartender! Our waiter was so friendly and he gave us such a great service, he kept on coming to our table to make sure we weren’t missing anything, thank you! We sat outside on their terrace at night, my friend and I kept talking hours and hours, ordered more drinks. Even though they were closing up, no pressure, still smiling when we were leaving. We will be back for sure to try out their food and also… to smoke some shisha, its been a while ;)”

“Sparrow is a delightful casual restaurant on St. Laurent Blvd (just north of Fairmount), in an area with a number of other eateries. The ambiance is dark wood interiors with a bohemian flair with a super size street facing window...so that the restaurant is both dark and light at the same time. Seating is mostly at tables but there are a few bench side options as well as the window abutting coach (low to the ground but a very chill place to chat and snack). We had a weekend brunch...enjoying the scones and jam (surprisingly very good, the scone was served warm with a nice helping of devon cream...but the strawberry jam could have been better), the Fried Egg with Sage (very good), the Belgian Waffle (excellent although the portion was a touch too small) and a Green Salad (very good but simple). We also enjoyed some nice coffees and smoothies. Service was very attentive and friendly adding to the experience. On the late Saturday morning we visited, there were a large number of young family with kids just finishing up, so this appears to be a great place for an early breakfast for the young ones. Enjoy!”

“The staff was super friendly! The atmosphere (we sat outside) was wonderful, busy area, lots to watch and feel a part of. The food was excellent, so wonderful to find a gluten free restaurant with gluten free beer, can’t find that at home in Ontario. Was an awesome experience would go back in a heartbeat!”

“I love the big trees out front, good food and relaxed atmosphere. The tortillas chips were warm and homemade which was a nice surprise. The Indian curry was a good balance of sweet and spicy. The ribeye was perfectly cooked and seasoned with garlic mashed potatoes. The menu said it came with veg, but I was given a tiny salad instead. Otherwise I would give it 5 stars. Service is reliably good every time I go. The drive out there is one of the prettiest in the province.”

“I haven't seen a bar of this quality with such impressive lighting, multiple well-ventilated rooms, and a cruise-like ambiance. The lighting system in every room was perfect, accompanied by excellent music equipment. The professional drag queens added to the overall experience. I dare say, I haven't seen a place like this in the United States. Despite not planning to dance that night, the irresistible music compelled me to hit the dance floor. They boast the best quality songs and consistently keep empty cups clean. The restroom is clean, though the hand-drying machine could use some improvement. The clientele is beautiful. The entry costs $11.50, and a beer is priced at $10.50. There is no charge for storing winter clothing in the closet.”

“Went 3 days ago with my boyfriend and his best friend and we had such a good time. The staff is friendly and attentive. We had onion rings, the classic poutine and nachos, the three excellent quality. For drinks we ordered some beers, an aperol and hot shots (these were really good). Overall we had a great time and I totally recommend this place 😊”
