“I came with my wife to this restaurant four years ago and it was so good with very interesting menu and Japanese whiskey tasting and very interesting dishes, however recently we went there and nothing is the same, the menu is basic and not interesting at all, so bland no taste and the portion are so small for the price which to be honest is too expensive for what it is. I gave it five stars four years ago but now it doesn’t deserve it anymore. Sorry this happened but this will be the last time for us”

“We stayed in one of the newer mobiles which are well appointed, close together, ours was mainly shaded. We arrived to people playing a game of boules right outside our mobile - this continued every evening with people from the campsite …”

“Nice restaurant, well located, amazing view over the castle. The food is good and everything seems to be home made. Cocktails are also delicious and beautifully presented. I’m taking two stars away because of the manager, who refused to give us a table by the castle (saying it was for drinks only) and tried to put it on his staff after we notified him that some people were now seated and eating in the area we asked for. He also seems to be tough on his staff for no valid reasons. We had a young man as a waiter, both him and the barman did an excellent job. Hope the restaurant owner reads the review and takes action as this place has a lot of potential.”

“Definitely not or near a four star .stayed one night in our motorhome.noise went on to 2.30am from the private mobile homes .no night watch to be seen. Not the cleanest of toilets ect .beach is across Marsh lands for a campsite on that says on the beach .wish we had of moved on .”
