Top 5 Nightlife in British Columbia

Clive's Classic Lounge
4.7
( 10 reviews )

740 Burdett Ave, Victoria, BC V8W 1B2, Canada

“There's a reason they've won so many awards! I had some of the best cocktails I've ever had at Clive's and will be recommending this place to anyone visiting Victoria”

The Narrow Lounge
4.4
( 8 reviews ) $$
Closed until 05:00 AM

1898 Main St, Vancouver, BC V5T 3B9, Canada

“Sure it’s busy and hard to get a seat but why? It’s just cheap gross food, watered down below average drinks, nothing special about a stinky underground dungeon. The bathrooms were an absolute disaster, it’s like a frat house basement suit. Where we sat, the cushions were ripped, falling apart and uncomfortable, tables sticky as hell. I didn’t know this place was so bad. There was only 1 bartender running the entire place, felt bad for the girl. Consider having at least have 2 bartenders to improve customer service. Sorry I can’t recommend this place unless what I described is what you’re after.”

Cannery Brewing
4.7
( 8 reviews )
Open until 10:00 PM

198 Ellis St, Penticton, BC V2A 4L5, Canada

“Cannery Backyard is the greatest place in Penticton. Super chill, dog friendly, all the taps of the regular taproom. Amazing food trucks. Great staff. Easily the best brewery in the Okanagan.”

One Under
4.4
( 8 reviews ) $$
Closed until 12:00 PM

476 Granville St, Vancouver, BC V6C 1V4, Canada

“Did a company event here, and everyone loved it. The service was great, and I especially love the music selection. I love that they have vizzy on tap. Actually, the staff did too good a job that everyone at work thinks, I put in a lot of effort to set things up when I actually didn't. Thanks for making me look good”

Samz Neighbourhood Pub Port Coquitlam
4.2
( 10 reviews ) $$
Open until 11:00 PM

2342 Elgin Ave, Port Coquitlam, BC V3C 2B5, Canada

“Haven't been here for a long time (no minors allow, so tough to want to be here if you have kids). Used to be a great neighbourhood gem with good food and service, but kind of disappointed when we were here the other night. Arrived on a Friday night around dinner time a couple weeks back. Place was packed as expected, so we understand the service could be a bit slow. Very limited menu (when compares to other pubs in the area), and very pricy for the quality and portions they offered. Waited almost an hr for a few pieces of chicken wings and onion rings, taste was just meh. Our server was friendly, but pretty sure she brought me a lager instead of the honey lager I ordered. Maybe it was just one of those nights?”

Mount Pleasant Vintage & Provisions
4.5
( 10 reviews ) $$
Closed until 11:30 AM

67 W 6th Ave, Vancouver, BC V5Y 1K2, Canada

“Cute, cozy, and unique setting with friendly staff and yummy food! Went here for the first time on a Monday afternoon for happy hour and I loved it!! Easily found street parking and walked right in. The service was great, the food and drinks came quickly, and the decor is really cool. The happy hour prices were awesome too. I’ll definitely be back to try some more cocktails and food items! This would be a great place for a date or to bring a bigger group of friends.”

Red Truck Beer Company
4.3
( 8 reviews )

295 E 1st Ave, Vancouver, BC V5T 1A7, Canada

“An easy place to drop by for a beer and tasty pub food. It's clean and has always had consistent friendly service. Nice patio and indoor space that has games playing too. Only drawback was the lettuce used in the Cobb salad was made with cheap iceberg lettuce. The salad was $17, would expect at least romaine however the fried chicken was very well done with a tasty light batter.”

Corky's Irish Pub
4.1
( 8 reviews ) $$
Closed until 11:00 AM

45844 Yale Rd #3, Chilliwack, BC V2P 2N8, Canada

“Went there because it was late (past 10), and options were limited, but pub food is usually good, so I'll give it a try. The first thing I notice when I walk in is the live music performance. That's pretty neat. However, the volume was so loud that it was nearly impossible to hold a conversation to order food; the concert I was at the previous weekend had quieter music. You would definitely incur hearing loss if you spent time there. We decided to eat outside on the back patio instead, which looked kinda cute. Turns out that area is for smoking, so we spent the rest of our time breathing in secondhand smoke. Great if you're a smoker, terrible otherwise. It was also in a not so great area of town, and a random person who seemed homeless kept walking up to loudly ask for a cigarette. I don't blame the establishment for this, but yeah... We were instructed to sit down at any table, and, presumably, a server would come by to help us. We sat there for half an hour before we got up to go ask if we were going to get service and had to grab our own menus. We then waited and *again* had to get up to order because there was absolutely no service. I don't know what they said as a reason for not being able to serve us because, again, the music was too loud to really communicate. After this, we did get our food and started receiving normal service. We ordered the nachos, and they were fine. Nothing special or amazing, but they were large with plenty of toppings and filled us up, but you would expect at least that for $29 ($27?). Not enough salsa, but maybe you can order more, I didn't try. As we were leaving, at least 3 police cars were sitting outside the entrance with a 4th rolling up. I'm not sure what was going down, but we were happy to get out of there. Might be completely unrelated to the restaurant, but that is the kind of area it's located in. Anyways, terrible experience with potentially unsafe working conditions, I recommend you go somewhere else.”
