“We stopped in on our way from Utah to Maine. Food was amazing! Service was okay, we waited for a while to get our check even though our waitress made eye contact with us multiple times. Still recommend. We had the brisket BLT and the chicken fried steak sandwich. Would go there again!”

“I really enjoy this place. The atmosphere is fun and chill. Spacing of the tables is great compared to some other pool halls I've been in and most of the tables are in good shape. Plenty of variety in age and skill level of players and you can bring the younger members of the family in before 9pm I believe. Pricing is good as well... 4 stars because parking isn't the best, small and tight and low lighting. And not much in the way of food. If your looking for a fun way to spend a few hours and enjoy pool this is one you should definitely check out!”

“I can’t believe I’ve never been to the Jewel! Live music! Walk ins welcome (maybe not every night but the signs says it), talked to the performer singer songwriter Chad after his performance which is something I’ve never got to do- the quality of sound in there is incredible without just turning up speakers. The quaint atmosphere makes it feel like you’re in your own living room theater space. Just so much fun. Will be back much more often. Tickets don’t break you either. $10-$20 a show! Yes please !”

The bartenders are always helpful and friendly, and owners are often on site--it is obvious they are doing this because they love it. McCue's is my favorite place for a drink in Kearney for sure!”
