“This is a smaller resturant but doesn’t feel over crowded. We bought the dinner/jazz entertainment show package and it’s worth every penny. The taste of the dood was one of the best I’ve ever had. Very small portions, it’s more for looks than anything. The jazz performers was nothing less than amazing. They’re true performers and really knows how to interacted with the crowd.”

“Outstanding open air rooftop bar, south of downtown Philly! Incredible panoramic views of the Philadelphia skyline and surrounding area. Worth the trip for that alone. The bar has a laid-back relaxed feel with an assortment of places to sit or just lean against the rail and take in the view. The bar is a top of an old educational building that has been re-purposed. Just take the elevator to the top and prepare to be wowed. Bar service includes craft beer, can cocktails or mixed drinks. Some food service as well. We didn’t eat. Great place to take in the sunset and catch a nighttime view. On the other side other from the bar is a separate restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating that has views of South Philly, including the sports stadiums. This is a unique establishment and is a must do!!”

“Beer was pretty good. Service was friendly. You order at the bar and leave your credit card to run a tab. Sign at the cash says they charge you $20 if you forget your credit card. Try Eraserhood that is an IPA. $5 happy hour pints! They have a food truck inside in the back. Food looked good but we had dinner plans. Next time.”

“Hands down EXCELLENT. It was our first visit, and we were not disappointed! What a gem of a place! Our wait to get a table was about an hour, we did arrive around 6 pm on a Saturday so the wait was expected. Bar service and table service were both outstanding. The Murph's team was so busy, but all of the staff hustled to make sure every customer was being taken care of. Our dinner was amazing. Fresh, delicious pasta!! I wanted to order everything on the menu! Prices were also very reasonable. I can't wait to get back to Murph's!!”

“Listen. That's one hell of a place to go on a date! Beautiful, sensual, and dark atmosphere (even from the outside and the room for the reservations), comfortable booths, open till late at night, and limited seats (yes, you'll probably need a reservation, but it will never get overcrowded!). Con: Bathroom's a bit... bad... to put it in a good way. The music was great and just on the right level to easily have a conversation. The service was on point with a good bartender and great waiters who knew the drinks. The only downside was the price for the drinks (which were great overall), the portions for them, and how short the selection was. I'm sure they'd be able to list a few more interesting drinks other than 3× of each classic one. And $17-20 for a cocktail and $19 for a glass of wine that came in a can? Hmmmmm, I don't know... You can be the judge of that.”

“I had thee absolute best time ever here especially as a new customer. My sister and I will be going here more frequently. The manager Martese (I hope I spelled that right) was GREAT. And another patron Kevin chatted with us and schooled us about all things lacrosse. The food was amazing...... although I had to send my sandwich back because it was just too salty. So I got a burger. And the caesar salad was amazing!!! I've never had it with capers before and it didn't make it overly salty. Nice vibe would be an understatement Update 8/13/2023: Still 5 stars. Wanted to add the Beef Bourgeoning Gnocchi. OMG DELICIOUS!!!!!”

“Was very happy to find a place that we could actually sit down and eat on a Saturday night with no reservation and the food ended up being wonderful. I highly recommend the jerk chicken tacos. They were so good that we just had them delivered to the hotel the next day. It was very loud and went in there, but that was mainly contributed by a group of three or four very loud girls sitting at one table.”

“We tried bistec taco 🌮 which was very dry and flavorless. All the tacos come in three tiny ones. Only ordered one but came in two orders. Oh well. Shrimp taco was very bland as well. Esquites (roasted corn) was decent. Service was not great either. Very difficult to find a waiter. Good place for bar food. The happy hour is good.”

“Loved it! We selected this place by through a Google Maps-dartboard through and boy did we win big! Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful...the dining room had a cozy inviting fire going... and the food was BONKERS! The loaded fries will have you wonder how you lived your life before now! Bacon egg and cheese with a side of great fries was just what I needed. Glad we got off the BSL and took a walk over to this gem of a tavern. Will definitely visit again as well as recommend 100%!”
