“Out after a concert and looking for a late night meal before bed, searching for pizza came naturally as we walked back to the hotel. It was dark out, we couldn't see a clear sign for this place yet there was an inviting dark red glow where you're unsure if it's cozy or closed..it's cozy! What an atmosphere, an intimate one. The service was great, patrons engaged with one another in a balanced environment with upbeat music playing and a proper old fashioned in hand. Then came our sausage pizza which was a great thin crust with appropriately charred edges, the goat cheese provides a tangy backing and that sausage is perfect.”

“This is the ultimate in Wisconsin's local neighborhood tavern. The service was spectacular. The bartender was top notch, with over 25 years experience running the show, ans was very attentive to everyone in the place. The selections of sauces for the food was extensive, and all were very flavorful, particularly the mango habeñero sauce.”

“I think I had this place at a 3 star but I've bumped it up to 5 because we now go here every Friday for fish fry. They have a lot of variety on the menu. The employees are always friendly. And I appreciate that the owner is there almost every day on the floor helping to keep things running smoothly. It's not a michrlin star restaurant but the final bill is affordable every time compared to other places. The food usually comes out pretty quick. And they get the orders right most of the time. Hard to find that these days.”

“I ordered takeout. For me this is a mixed review. I loved the Chicken Pot Pie, it tasted great, but the takeout container (round, clear, plastic) made it look like Thanksgiving leftovers! Pot Pie crust was mixed in with the pot pie, just weird. The New London Bridge Fish Fry was spicy and bitter, probably from the Peck's Pilsner beer batter. Just too weird for me. The fish itself was white and tasty. Fries were really good. Coleslaw was good, but tiny. Tartar sauce great. Great Dane has a generous $15 birthday bonus as part of their loyalty program that is run by a third party app. VERY difficult to redeem. I gave up and went to the restaurant. Staff was very helpful and came to the rescue! With my phone number it was easy to redeem for dining in or for takeout. Worth the trip, $15 off ANY menu item. Must redeem within 7 days of your birthday.”

“Beer and service is good but pricing doesn’t make a lot of sense to want to drink at the tap room. 7$ beers on tap but 13$ dollar Togo 6 packs I’ll probably never drink at the tap room but will definitely buy the recreational chemistry again just to go. Reward people for coming in to drink your beer instead of double the price of each beer.”
