As an unfiltered IPA guy, the Pulp is the go to. Kieran, the legend behind the counter, also ensures a smooth and enjoyable experience. He even went above and beyond regarding a memorabilia snafu. Second time visiting, years apart, and yet it felt like I never left. 🍻 10/10 🍻”

“I came here for the ambiance. This place sure is eclectic! Some of the other bars in the area feel... well... sterile. But then again, they aren't art bars. I came on a Friday night, and it was quite busy. I kinda wish I came here more, but duty calls (by that, I mean work .😮💨) I don't think they offer food here.”

“We had made reservations for NYE morning to have brunch via their online reservation system about 30 days before. We even received a confirmation text the day prior and confirmed we were going. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the restaurant was closed until the evening. Luckily, one of the chefs was there and directed us to a diner nearby which was good but definitely very different from what we expected to be eating that morning. At least the chef was nice and helpful which is why it gets two stars (he would get 5 stars for his helpfulness).”

“This location was great your in Alameda on a hot day over her is cooler because your near The Bay so if your doing evenings bring a Hoody, jacket, or sweater or blanket. Parking is easy a lot of space. It's Almanac they make great beers their IPA and if course sours are freaking awesome. The place is well decorated if your into that I just mainly come to drink. They hace a great selections of beer and their seasonals is drives me here. If your hungry there is a food vendor here that makes some excellent food I had there fried chicken and let me tell that is one hella good fried chicken. With goid beer and great food you can't go wrong. Great location and great food and beer. A must if your into sours and great beer. Cheers🍻”

“This was my favorite spot during my final year at Cal (2023). I took almost all of my friends here. I even brought my parents here for a drink on the day of my commencement. The atmosphere is most often calm, with a majority local patrons. I even felt comfortable coming here as a woman on my own because I knew the bartenders would look out for me. Special shout out to Michael who always made sure I was not only safe but also having a good time! Love the kona club <333”

“Oh, when I walked in and saw those tanks I knew I was in the right place. Fresh craft beer, great selection, super cool staff. The seating is varied, inside has some long tables for groups, booths for more intimacy, a loft and outdoor seating along the front and side. There’s a pop up pizza maker everyday and the pizza is delicious. Thin, tasty crust and fresh ingredients.”
