“My husband and I are semi-homeless. I called the food bank and asked I can come by there and pick up some food for us. I was told no! They issue out the food to a bunch of churches that I know not where they are! Even if I did know, I have no way to get there! I don't understand why they can't operate the way food banks in Houston and other big cities operate? People can go directly to the food bank and get food! If y'all are not going to provide food to the needy, then go home and go to bed!”
