“We went on a Saturday for dinner without having a booking. It was very busy inside, the restaurant was almost full and the 2 small tables that were left were reserved. The staff gave us one of those tables. The food was very good. We had chicken green cury and chilli basil seafood stir fry with steamed rice and chicken satay with peanut sauce to share. The penuts sauce was to die four, chicken skewers were a bit dry but very tasty. Both main course dishes were well cooked, beautifully presented, and the portions were generous. I couldn't eat all my food. The steamed rice does not come with the food and needs to be ordered separately. The regular dishes are around $20 / portion. It was a bit more expensive for seafood. The steamed rice is $4.5/person, but the portions were generous. We finished eating and it was rice left. At other thai restaurants i have been lately, the rice is never enough. Both meal with riceand the entre were about $65, that is not expensive for a couple weekend night out. The restaurant is BYO. So bring your wine when you go next time there. I also noticed that they have a kids menu and is not expensive. Kids' meals are just $10/ portion. Lots of thai restaurants don't have kids' menu.. Staff were very attentive. The ice cold water been on our table within a minute from our arrival. They took our order as soon as we decided what to eat and the dishes came out of the kitchen with 15 minutes. Overall, i give the restaurant 5 stars. We'll be back there for sure, and we'll make a booking next time 😊”

“How often have you walked past Mr Bun, located just past the East end of Murray Street mall? A non-pretentious and simple restaurant. It is the perfect, cheap and cheerful fix on a cold, rainy day. Parking is limited in the area. Order at the counter. Thick, in-house noodles were a lovely, springy texture. Thin noodles just as satisfying. A few pieces of frozen white fish completed the dish, although were lacking in both number and flavour. The preserved vegetables in broth made up for it. They are generous with their salt, which may be to your liking. It's a personal take although makes me wonder if the chef smokes. Serving sizes are generous to just right for a hungry adult. Service is no nonsense, help yourself and order at the counter. Could do with a water station, even if it is just a self-serve urn for tea or cold water.”

“Went to this place for dinner with my family on a weekend. It was very busy but I was able to a table. We ordered Moo Yhang (pork) which was about 19 dollars and tasted good. Also ordered a Tom Yum Chicken (about 17 dollars) and a Beef Green Curry (about 24 dollars). Both well cooked. I had a glass of red wine as well. Quality was good and I think it was only about 8 dollars”

“The staff was great and polite. The environment is ok. But the great disappointment was the FOOD! You can tell by the 4 dishes we ordered and what was left over, how amazing (not) are the food. Mee Goreng was more like tomato sauce noodles. Lemon chicken fried rice had a strange odour with the rice. Chicken rice was overly salty and rice was not chicken rice, just plain rice. Wonton noodles had THICK Char-Siew (some may like it thick, like steak). The wonton was weird! It is like someone had just wrap the wonton skin over a meatball. 🤦♂️ Well don't take my word for it, try it for yourself and decide.😞”
