“I absolutely love this place! It has a great atmosphere as it’s really busy, we came here around 1pm! The food is absolutely incredible, light but filling. And everything tasted so great especially the bun, which was my favorite. I wouldn’t recommend the sea salted caramel drink with green tea as it’s just cream with green tea. I also love the hipster elements here, the plants and the light wood really brings this place alive ! The service is great and everyone is so friendly and attentive.”

“Fantastic! We've been to LV three times in the 30 days and it hasn't disappointed. Everything that comes to the table is freshly prepared and steaming hot. Even better are the flavors of each dish, which are superior to any Chinese food I've ever eaten. I honestly didn't know that Orange Chicken could be so fragrant, tender, and even a little spicy. They've been in business for 28 years for doing everything right!”

“October 2023 It's a damn good DIVE! :) Good spot for fair priced food, good quality, and served fast. I like this place, shanty shack vibe, hot, humid and all. The food is good, huge portions. My reviews and the places I go to tend to steer towards value for what you're paying. This place definitely gives you really good portion sizes, quality in their food, and a lot of value, that's for sure. They don't skimp. What impressed me was the Pad Thai noodles. They were not too sweet, were served at a really decent temperature, and they pack it full of chicken. So it's not just all noodle, no action. LOL. I guess because too many people were coming in here with allergies, they cut back on the peanuts. If you'd like them in the dish, you just have to specify that you want them. Same holds true for the scallions. Adding the peanuts in the scallions I think makes all the difference in the world, and brings that fresh grassy note to the dish. So if you're not allergic, go ahead, and splurge on nuts and grass. The Thai fried rice was good too. Huge portion size, and packed full of chicken as well. They don't skimp on the proteins here as you can tell. The flavor is great. You can tell they use a little bit of broth to flavor their rice. It was tasty, and the rice has a nice chew texture in your mouth. Just between these two dishes, I'd say you could feed minimum two people that were really big eaters, probably three if you all ate responsibly, maybe four if you ordered one more appetizer or a side dish or something. The Thai iced tea is great, not overly sweet. It's the typical Thai iced tea you would find in any other Thai establishment. Nothing special, but simple and to the point. The only downside to this place when I visited on a "warm" 70F degree, October day was that the main dining area was a little hot and humid, even with the windows open, and a small air conditioner blasting. I think it's because the sun is blasting this place at a 45° angle from morning through the late afternoon. The outside of the building has seen better days, but for being about 300 ft from the water, it's understandable that this place looks like a Beach Shack from the outside. Over all though, this is one of the few places in the Malibu area, between Topanga and say Kanan that offers Asian themed food. If fancy schmancy is your cup of tea, just take it to go. Lol. The food is still great either way. If you're staying at a bed and breakfast, out of town visitor, maybe you're a roaming pack of wild motorcycle riders, or bicycle Enthusiast passing through the area, this might be a good spot for inexpensive, quality food, and a great price! Don't expect anything in terms of the atmosphere, but if food is your only agenda, this place aims to please. PS: YES, they have separate Men and Women bathrooms”

“Enjoyed their noodles, or tried to. They close at 9, but at 8:30 they have all the chairs stacked and started using a floor cleaning chemical so noxious we both had coughing fits and an allergic reaction. Dumped our food and won't be back. We would have been done in 10 min, it IS a counter shop w/ fast service and fast eating. But come on, don't be jerks and start on the industrial cleaners at 8:30pm if you close at 9, or tell us you want us to get it to go when we are ordering. Crap service means we won't return and won't recommend”

“A nice cozy Thai restaurant that feels like a authentic spot right out of Phuket. The decorations are nice, but feel a bit cheap for the price of the food. Food is served family style and average at about $18 per plate, but they aren’t so big as to fully serve two people from one plate (other places like TOI have the same price but bigger plates). Food was really delicious and I highly recommend the Pad Kee Mao (tho it’s quite spicy, be warned). I’d say the restaurant would work quite well as a date night or a fun friends night as the food is served family style. Beer is available, but not on the menu for some reason. I’d recc this spot!”

“We've been coming here for almost 10 years already. Food is always excellent. The staple dishes we have to order every time we come here is Fried Spring Rolls (#93), Summer Rolls (#94), and of course their Pho Noodle Soup. We've been trying Pho at other places but none has come close to this Pho at Pho So 1. Their soup is so delicious and comforting. Their grilled pork with steamed rice and fried egg rolls & grilled pork/beef over vermicelli noodles are also delicious! Their Nuoc Cham (not sure if I say it right) just makes everything even tastier. I like to add a little bit of Sambal Oelek to the Nuoc Cham for a kick, then wrap the Fried Spring Rolls in green lettuce with some veggies and dip into the Nuoc Cham....so good!!!! This place is always busy but food comes out pretty quick. I believe it's a family-owned restaurant. Highly recommended!”

“An absolute favourite of mine when I am home. They can do no wrong with anything on the menu. But my favourite is the yellow chicken curry as it is heaven on earth. They also owned “Apricot” a Thai/French fusion place also Pasadena that closed years ago, this same dish was served there and blew my socks off then as it does now. I love Daisy Mint it’s my all time favourite Pasadena restaurant and where I go as often as I can when I’m in town. Recommendations: Pad Thai is 10:10, Salads are 10/10 and the Thai tea is 😍😍😍😍😍”

“Me and my dad enjoy eating Ramenya’s Basic Ramen and Fried Rice. Yesterday we still have the Basic Ramen and this time we have Gyoza for a side dish. I heard that they used to live in Olympic Street before coming to Gateway Blvd. You can either eat inside or outside. Whatever feels comfortable for you when coming to Ramenya. So if you see a Heart Shaped on the Menu that means it is there most popular dish. They also have a Vegetarian Ramen meals on the Menu. So I would definitely come back to enjoy a nice hot Ramen.”

“We walk here all the time and this is our go to Sushi spot in the Valley. The staff is always so inviting and attentive. Never had an issue with service and the food has always been consistent. Not to mention, I do not eat white rice and they are able to everything with brown rice. The salmon special in the picture is unreal 🔥🔥 the hostess Hanna was awesome!! She deserves a separate shout out.”

“Excellent Thai food spot ! The only thing to improve on is probably service (takes 10 ish minutes for someone to notice you waiting to be seated). If there’s no parking in the complex then there’s plenty of (free during happy hours / weekdays) street parking on 3rd street. They were accommodating of our small dog on the patio ! Excellent value during happy hour , you can sample most of their appetizers for $2 per 2 , 3 or 1 pieces depending on the item. Their mains are pretty filling and mostly <$15 regular pricing. The pad Thai was (piping hot so wait a minute before you eat it ! Lol) but delicious , the noodles were perfect. Pad see ew was delicious as well. Don’t think about it just stop by! Especially if it’s happy hour .”
