Dorothy Chandler Pavilion
4.7
( 8 reviews )

135 N Grand Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90012, United States

“Beautiful venue for operas and operas. The supertitles were clear and the place was very clean. Even though we were seated very high up for our matinee of the Barber of Seville, we had a good view of the stage. My specific seat was a bit obscured by the railing but that made my ticket cheaper, so I was cool with it. Parking is $10 all day on weekends and in the evenings in the garage, or you can try to find metered spots. Theres a courtyard with tables outside of the venue so you can have a little picnic or opt to eat at one of the many nearby restaurants. Ushers are nice. Bathrooms are available only on stage right at the top floor. There were elevator banks but most people took the stairs. You can preorder food and drinks for intermission. Seats were a bit narrow but still comfortable.”

At&t Performing Arts Center

“A stunning and world-class PAC. It's just beautiful. The seats are comfortable, the staff is gracious, helpful, and friendly, and it is just an extraordinary experience all around. The views of the stage are spectacular! The location is perfect and easily accessible, and parking and leaving after is not stressful with the very well organized system they have in place. We loved everything in this amazing performing arts center.”

Goodspeed Opera House
4.7
( 8 reviews )

6 Main St, East Haddam, CT 06423, United States

“A gorgeous old building, located on beautifully kept grounds overlooking a picturesque section of the Connecticut river. The building has been restored to it's original furnishings, including the handsome bar area where you can get drink and enjoy it on the balcony overlooking the river. The bar serves drinks that have been crafted to reflect the times / themes / place of the marquee show, allowing you to enjoy the experience with all your senses. We saw the show Summerstock, apt in the fact that the area in which it was played is similar to the story itself. The singing and dancing was incredible, and the show starred award winning Broadway actors. We drove over an hour to the venue, and it was completely worth the drive. Highly recommended.”

The Grand Opera House

818 N Market St, Wilmington, DE 19801, United States

“Very nice venue for live music. Intimate, in spite of the name. Seats are not as cramped as the Met in Philly. Easy access and parking nearby. Paid $6 to park a block and a half away. Good restaurants within walking distance. I plan to return soon.”

Chapman Cultural Center
4.8
( 10 reviews )
Closed until 11:00 AM

200 E St John St, Spartanburg, SC 29306, United States

“This is an excellent venue to serve the cultural needs of the community. Some parking is available on both the east and west sides of the building. The facility is large enough to hold several hundreds of patrons, yet it still maintains a cozy, personal feel. I recently attended a Spartanburg Philharmonic Expresso concert and found the acoustics to support a good listening experience. I consider this a key resource to the Spartanburg area.”

Alice Tully Hall
4.8
( 10 reviews )

1941 Broadway at, W 65th St, New York, NY 10023, United States

“This is such an iconic location to come listen to excellent music. We wanted to see Xian Chang during the Summer for the City event going on these few months. It was absolutely incredible seeing this massive theater and iconic halls. Every seat has a fantastic view of the area and allows for a perfect experience. They do have an outside bar where you can buy drinks and snacks. They don’t do physical programs anymore, however there are QR codes near the doors to allow you to pull up programs for the event going on that night. I highly suggest coming here if you want to experience a once (or more) in a lifetime musical performance that will take your breath away!”

Imperial Theatre
4.5
( 8 reviews )

749 Broad St, Augusta, GA 30901, United States

“A nice little theater. Agree with a couple other reviews that it does need a bit of TLC as its age is showing inside and out. Ticket prices aren't the greatest value but it's one of the few places to go to see plays and such.”

Strand Theatre
4.3
( 8 reviews )

543 Columbia Rd, Boston, MA 02125, United States

“Loved this experience. Absolutely fantastic experience and a must see for anyone even if art isn’t your usual thing. Really well laid out experience set in the Strand Theatre with amazing visuals and sounds. Designed to be viewed standing, sitting or lying down while the art of Van Gogh just wraps around you from walls to floor. Great combination of visual arts immerse within technology. Definitely art could never feel more real! Definitely recommend.”

Houston Grand Opera
4.7
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 12:00 PM

510 Preston St UNIT 1504, Houston, TX 77002, United States

“Not crazy about the opera, it's the singing style that's not really my preference. I prefer musicals and plays much more but the production was very good. The ushers at the Houston Grand Opera could use a lesson in hospitality because I experienced 2 very rude ushers! Parking was effortless and easy which was a big surprise for downtown Houston.”

Lions Lincoln Theatre

156 Lincoln Way E, Massillon, OH 44646, United States

Regal Cinema South
4.1
( 10 reviews )

“We went to see an awesome movie, The Color Purple, at Regal Cinema. The staff, every single person that we came in contact with from Regal, was outstandingly congenial, professional, friendly, accommodating and helpful. They truly made our special event hosted by Deborah Gordon-Benton and featuring "Lindsay Renea Benton" as one of the movie's dancers, a special night to remember. Regal Cinema, "Thank you so very much!"”

Central City Opera House
4.7
( 8 reviews ) $$

124 Eureka St, Central City, CO 80427, United States

“Old west town still looks authentic. It's a beautiful casino on the first floor, kids arcade on the second and a restaurant on the third. Other buildings are only casinos and maybe two restaurants. I love coming here once a month. Higher elevation than Denver, you could be out of breath walking about four inclined blocks of this town.”

Shea Center For Performing Arts
4.7
( 8 reviews )

300 Pompton Rd, Wayne, NJ 07470, United States

“Great production space. It's handicap accessible, although not particularly easy to navigate if you have mobility issues.”

Frugal Muse Books Music-video
4.6
( 16 reviews )

235 Junction Rd, Madison, WI 53717, United States

“A big bookstore on the west side of the. It's a nicely organized store. They have a wide selection of books labeled and organized by genre. And they also sell cds too. Additionally there are nick nacks and even a few bakery treats for sale near the cashier desk. They sell goods to raise money for charity. It's a wonderful store. The customer service could use a lot of work though. Every time I come in to sell or trade books the cashiers clearly don't want to help and act like you are annoying them. I don't come often because of that.”
