“I always find the service here brilliant. I have used this store for eye tests, purchase of glasses and contact lenses for many years. I have never had an issue with them and find them quite reasonably priced with a good selection. The staff are friendly and for me the contract lens team always stand out, making me feel valued and never rushed, with my options being clearly explained. My only minor negative is they sometimes run late with appointments, but I always allow for this.”

“I have just had laser eye surgery with Optical Express. From the first consultation to the final product I have nothing but respect for all the hard work the team have done. They made the whole process move very swiftly but also put me at ease when I had questions / concerns. The team at OE including Usman and the surgeon have done an excellent job and I would thoroughly recommend going there should you wish to have laser eye surgery. I know it’s a scary feeling having it done but honestly you are in an out within a couple of minutes. Thanks again for everything! Craig”

“Should NOT have gone to Specsavers I bought these glasses at the start of 2023 from Specsavers. I had found out late last year that my eyesight has diminished rapidly since my last exam, and I may require cataract surgery soon (I’m in my 50’s). I wanted to use another pair of glasses I had, and when I spoke to Specsavers, they said this might be possible (for an additional cost) but they would need to see the glasses. At my appointment, they told me that none of the pairs that I had brought in could be used, and then proceeded to ‘soft sell’ their own glasses. I completely regret this purchase. Not only did I make a decision on the spur of the moment, but the glasses do not fit properly. I even went back to get them ‘tightened’, but was told they can only be adjusted so far. I have worn glasses since the middle of the 80’s, and I can honestly say these are the worse glasses I have ever owned. When I even mildly perspire, they practically fall off my nose. Unfortunately, as my left eye has deteriorated the most, I have no option but to use these glasses until I buy another pair. But given I may have the cataract surgery in the next year (contingent on my next eye exam), I am reticent to do that. Sorry Specsavers, but you should have known better, and never sold me these glasses.”
