Years after, they moved to Ferguson Rd, where they created this magnificent "state of the art facility" to accommodate and serve more patients. The doctors and the staff members are splendid. Each of them are pro in their field. Highly recommended!”

“My family members and I went here for our first eye exam after moving to the area. Our insurance billing was mishandled (my son had to pay the full amount when it should have been fully covered, in-network), and we had each to pay a deductible when our visit should have been billed as an eye exam - instead it was billed as an office visit, resulting in a co-pay. Despite giving the billing staff the opportunity to correct after sharing instructions from the insurance company, it remains unresolved almost 1 year later. We will not be returning.”

“I had two visits with the same doctor, he obviously did not look at my chart from the first visit. My final impression is they pushed me through and didn’t help me at all. I’m guessing because they weren’t seeing the problem, it was not of the easy money category. Overall experience was very disappointing. Happy to see other had a good experience. My problem will need to be addressed by REAL doctors”

“Abelist and snobby. I really debated writing this review or not, but people need to know and the staff need to be held accountable for their behavior. The 2 stars are only because their Dr is great, but the front staff are terrible. Their office is not accessible at all with things in the way everywhere, making it very difficult for anyone with a mobility aid to get around. Their location has a terribly potent scent infuser that is very bad for anyone with breathing problems or scent sensitivities. The staff looked at me like I was gum under their shoe whenever I came in and said again and again more things to pay for after I specifically said I could ONLY afford what insurance would cover. They did not want to respect that at all. They rushed me around even though I walk with a cane and have difficulty moving quickly. The last appointment I had and will ever go to, they were incredibly disrespectful of my time and never told me to bring my contacts with me. So I went all the way there, with great physical difficulty, to an appointment only to have wasted my time completely because of their staff's negligence. If you are disabled and don't have their kind of look or money then don't bother going.”

“I'm 55 yrs old and have never seen any optometrists. I made an appointment and was able to get in relatively fast for a Dr appointment and had the exam, testing for cataract and some other things. I'm near sighted so they set me down with a lady who helped me pick out a new pair of glasses. I was told that I would receive them in two to three weeks but they arrived 8 days after my appointment and I just wanted to say that I am 100% satisfied with the professional service care from Nittany Eye Associates. Thank you for letting me see again!”

“Hadn’t been to the eye doctor in many years. But my experience was fabulous! Was simple to check in, barely waiting 5 mins to be called back. Everyone I encountered was very thorough. Kind and friendly. Even after getting the eye drops for dilation, they came to check the progress frequently. All in all, I absolutely loved my experience. Would recommend to any and everybody.”

“I stopped going to their office many years ago because I suddenly became aware that the extra $25.00 that they charged me for my glasses was just a very sneaky upsale that they never should have been charging me! They purposely showed me more expensive frames when they should have just shown me the frames that I was eligible for and maybe showed me the more expensive frames as a clearly identified option. They did not! I don't deal with crooked people and that is why I go to Valley Vision Care on Market Street.”

“I am so grateful I had Dr Altman for my PRK eye surgery. I had been considering laser eye surgery for several years. And after meeting with the Eye consultants of PA team I felt so relaxed and excited to have it there. Both my brother and sister in law had Dr Altman and they also had nothing but great things to say. Every appointment I had leading up to the surgery all employees were incredibly supportive, patient, and helpful for answering all my questions. During the procedure Dr. Altman made me feel incredibly relaxed and told me exactly what was happening the entire way. He does excellent work!”
