“I saw Dr Donnenfeld in a few minutes of arrival. My eyes were thoroughly examined by the doctor and his staff. Dr Donnenfeld suggested a new strategy to correct my eyes and he did it painlessly and quickly. A great experience.”

“Their service is awesome. Everything & everyone is well coordinated so you do not sit long at all. They know your time is valuable. The best part for me, though, is that I don't have to wait months (or even weeks) to get an appointment. They do their best to get you in as soon as possible. Very refreshing.”

“The doctors and staff are exceptional. Short wait times, organized service in every step of the process of getting testing before you are seen by the doctor. Professional, courteous and more importantly I left there feeling cared for. Not typical of the assembly line medical care that happens a lot in big cities.”

Studio Optix

63 W 49th St, New York, NY 10112, United States

“Studio Optix has been my go-to for a while for all my eye exam, glasses and contact needs. Dr. Butler is always a pleasure to work with and the staff is equally pleasant. I love the assortment of eyewear brands and styles they carry. There's literally something for everyone. On the last day of the year, I received a text informing me that I was eligible to receive two free boxes of contacts and asking if I was interested. Needless to say, I jumped on the opportunity and received my contacts in just a few days. Talk about going above and beyond! I was beyond grateful and will continue being a Studio Optix customer.”

“I will not be going back to this store for services; I have been going to this store for 5 years, since they were in 71st Avenue. The doctor is excellent, he did a thorough job. The $90.00 plastic frame is very cheap and fragile. In addition, when I picked up my glasses I was told no cases. They give me the glass in a cardboard pouch; cheap, cheap cheap...how frugal can you be, should I have paid with monopoly money? I will not be going back here and I know a lot of my friends who I recommended to this store. I will make sure they do not go back to this cardboard pouch store as well.”

“While I was seeing Dr. Kung today, one of the technicians brought me in but she was rushing me. I overheard that she complaining about how she didn’t want to miss her break, that she has to make her break. She rushed me and didn’t even …”

Union Square Eye Care

235 Park Ave S, New York, NY 10003, United States

“This is a very high class optometrist that accepts most forms of insurance for appointments, but not for making glasses. I went here and received the most thorough eye check up I have ever gotten here. The optometrist was very sweet, and made me feel very comfortable. This is a pretty swanky optometrist. If you're in New York and looking for a high class optometrist then look no further! Plus the location is very close to Union Square so that makes it easy to get to. But it is on the second level, and you have to take the stairs I believe, but there I'd an elevator that you might be able to use if you're in a wheelchair. Also it can be hard to miss being on the second floor, and the first floor doesn't look like an optometrist. Overall I think this is one of the best eye doctors I've ever seen. And I've been wearing glasses or contacts since I was 9 years old. Seeing that I'm 40 now that's saying something! Lol”
