“Il Rovescio was a highlight of our visit to Bologna! I went with my mother and we had such a lovely experience. The service is excellent, warm, and friendly. We didn’t have reservations and were seated in a cosy annexe. The atmosphere was so nice: people at different tables talking to each other, a very sweet and friendly dog sitting next to us. Finding vegetarian and vegan friendly restaurants in the meat-focused foodie city of Bologna is challenging so we really appreciated the wide selection of seasonal veggie options. The dishes we tried were fresh and flavourful. We had such a nice experience here! ❤️”

“Brunch was SO delicious. If going for brunch you have to make a reservation and specifically request that you're reserving for brunch otherwise they'll give you a regular lunch menu. The menu is a set price of 25€ for a starter course and main entree, and they also brought a small bowl of yogurt with granola/fruit for each of us. I forgot to take a picture of our main entrees, but the starters were delicious. She got the pancakes and I got the waffles. Both were great but I thought the pancakes were better. For the main dish we each got the Avo Salmon toast with spinach & one poached egg - really tasty though I wish it had just a bit more sauce. Beautiful setting and atmosphere! Highly recommend!”

“We only had lunch, so I cannot comment on the rooms. Location is immersed in the nature and the place is located in a small valley. Service is good, although a bit slow probably because it was full and they struggled to serve all customers fast. Food was good and very typical from the area; we opted for the 4-course menù which included some appetizers based on salumi misti and cheese then we had crespelle and risotto, both good. Main course was meat with potato, tasty and well cooked and finally we had an apple pie. Portions were the right size as we could go through all of them without feeling stuffed. Price aligned with expectations. Overall a good experience, so reccomended.”

Cherry on top, the owner was very thoughtful on charging us about 15€ more than the corret price only because of one of us being a foreigner and us being clearly just passing by the city. Needless to say, very unlikely to visit a second time, even if I'll ever find myself in Piacenza again. Consider other places.”
