“We have visited the Hospital several times in the last few months for treatment for my wife's Glaucoma. Mr Khan the consultant has provided excellent care and treatment. The hospital itself is conveniently located with plenty of parking and has recently undergone some refurbishment, the staff are always friendly and helpful.”

“A calming setting for 15 courses of omakase with Endo. It took us months to get this reservation, but it was well worth it. It is important to arrive on time as they serve everyone at once. Each course didn't outshine the course before, rather it complemented and continued the experience. My personal favorites had to be the mushroom soup and the Waygu. Endo comes around and chats with everyone. He's friendly and a bit quirky. The kind woman that served us our sake pairing was so polite and seemed so happy and excited for us to be there. The sommelier/bartender was also so sweet - we complimented his panda tie and it seemed like it made his day. I'd love to come back, but given the price I'd have to come back on a very special occasion.”

“I have received excellent care , above and beyond what I expected, when I had my CT scan at The Alexandra Hospital on 9/2/24. Mizra, André and Dr. Rajashanker gave me the very best care and worked late in order to complete my scan that day. They all really showed me that they cared a lot about my health condition. “Countless terrible experiences at this vets. Our more recent experience was the final straw. Our dog has a corneal ulcer and requires plasma drops which need to be applied every 2 hours and can only be used for 72hours. We received a second lot of eye drops Saturday which were to start8pm that evening. We went to go use them that evening to find there was no dropper so we couldn’t use. Therefore we have lost a whole days worth of product until we could go and speak to them the following day. Went first thing Sunday morning for them to tell us they’ll just give us the dropper. We explained no we’ve now lost 24hours of use of this product from their error therefore they need to replace. They flatly refused to do this and instead charged us again for the product. They sold us a faulty item and made us buy another hats product. Utterly in dismay at the poor level of customer service shown. Will be escalating this further as this is surely a breach of trading standards. Further to this I checked a cost price of one of the eye drops they supplied to us at the wholesaler at the pharmacy I work at. The cost price was £2.5, they charged us £38. That’s a 1500% mark up on the drug cost. Be warned this company is out for nothing but money and greed. Edit: Just in relation to the response by Westway. We did email all our concerns to the email mentioned and never received a reply.”

“I think at one point while I was recovering in my room, I could hear what seemed like a lot of voices. I felt there was too much noise for me when I just wanted some quiet and rest. The nurse that came in advised me what was normal after having a general anaesthetic which was fine as it was good to know what i would feel after my surgery. But I did feel like there was more than one nurse in the room who didn't really need to be there which just added to the noise level. Otherwise the staff who took care of me were really great and caring. They were very understanding, friendly, and genuinely caring and gentle. Food was actually quite good for a hospital, especially the porridge and macaroni cheese.”

“I went to see Stewart after an orthopedic surgeon told me to give up running due to wear and tear on the cartilage in my knee. He got me back up and running (literally) and gave me great advice to avoid such injuries and prolong and protect my knee, and most importantly continue running long-term. I like his professional, knowledgeable, direct, no nonsense approach and the fact he delivers results. And he's very nice!”

“Just been to the hospital’s Urgent Medical Care dept for a foot problem. Every staff member I saw was wonderful from the porter who went out of his way to ask if I needed help, to the reception ladies who were courteous & friendly, to the nurses, pharmacist and the doctor. Hospital nice and clean too. Special mention to Dr Emily who was excellent: professional, friendly and explained everything clearly. Thank you everyone!”

The hospital itself was great, Mr Goudie the surgeon was great, and the staff, especially the Livingston FC supporting night shift nurse were all superb. “I recently had a procedure at the Woodlands Hospital and the care was above and beyond. All the nurses, staff and doctors so very caring and reassuring right from the reception. At every stage I felt looked after and truly valued and with all that said, I'm not a private patient and at no point did I feel any other. I'm so grateful to have been looked after with such care and patience, any kind of operation or procedure is a worry and can make you feel anxious but the whole time I was there I felt reassured about what will happen. Also the after care advice was so valuable as my recovery is going so well. Thank you”
