“Small rustic and intimate restaurant with great service and food. We managed to get a walk in but the venue is popular so booking a day or two in advance would be ideal. Plates are well portioned and you leave full but not bloated so you can still walk around and enjoy the city. Food was amazing and bursting with flavour really enjoyed the pasta dishes. Venue was very clean and service was quick but we were not rushed. 3 course meal for 2 is about 150eu depending on drinks but worth the money. Would highly recommend and would return”

“Wow! Food, service, atmosphere - incredible. It was exactly what we wanted for our first night in Venice. We ordered the octopus to start, and two pasta dishes - which were all incredible. We also had a bottle of wine to share (hence the price per person). We finished with a trio of chocolate which was out of this world! 10/10 would recommend this restaurant.”

“We went on a Tuesday evening. It was quiet, and we order with the help of one of the waiters that speak a little English. My girlfriend order some pasta with anchovies, which we didn't like very much, it was like just a paste of anchovies with nothing else, very very salty and not very tasty. The rest was good. The service was fast and nice”

“this was our first night in the city and close to our hotel so we thought we try the restaurant out when we walked in no one was there they already had an attitude we sat down. I couldn’t decide so I ask waiter about cod which I never had they suggested I excepted that suggestion. (Sorry I did that )I really didn’t like it. I thought it was too salty did not eat it they could’ve cared less. I also had potatoes which were like cook earlier and reheated not good at all. We also had risotto dish it was just ok The waiter came over and said you didn’t like it. Nothings was wrong with it !!you !!have to pay for it. (no problem ) I was planning to do that but I just didn’t like his attitude then he said would you like a dessert? I said OK we had the cheesecake I assumed he meant because I didn’t like the fish ( big mistake) but no he didn’t. He added that to the bill the cheesecake was good !!it was a not a good experience here I’ve eaten at other restaurants since that one and they’ve all been good experiences sorry that I was-treated-that way on my first night that is definitely not good customer relations skills !guess just didn’t care so just be cautious if you go, you never know , it was a not a good experience for us !!!!!”

“Went with a group of parents and students as part of celebrations for graduation. The waiter (possibly owner reading other reviews) came out to take orders and seemed to be perfecting his rude to customers ‘comedy’ routine until he was no longer funny (he wasn’t in the first place). However when he shouted at me for trying to order a meal, in the wrong order, according to him, (though he was directly asking me what I wanted) while saying to others ‘she doesn’t speak the language’, he went a step too far. I don’t speak Italian but I can manage to order in Italian and have been doing so for the last two years while visiting my son there. He tried to embarrass me on purpose and that’s just not acceptable. He then expected me to order food with him but I refused, so I can’t really comment on the food but the service was shocking. From what I could tell from others, the food was fine but not up to where we’d had lunch and eaten the evening before.”
