“We spent 4 nights in this lovely hotel in December. We had a "boutique room" that gave us stupendous views of the lake & mountains. The room was very spacious, with firm but comfortable beds. I asked for a different pillow as I have cervical spinal problems & was immediately offered a variety of pillows. The bathroom was also spacious - it had a vanity basin & mirror (with good lighting), a toilet, a bidet & an amazing walk-in shower. We ate in the restaurant for 3 nights & each night's meal was delicious. As we don't know the Italian wine labels, we asked our cameriere for suggestions & he always gave us a beautiful wine to accompany our meal. The continental breakfasts were always tasty with fresh fruit juices & a good variety of breads, fruit, cheeses, etc. All the staff were very friendly, with most having good English-speaking skills. The whole place had a family feel about it, which isn't surprising as it's owned/managed by the Moli family. We would love to return one day.”

The way staff approached us, sincere smiles on their faces, and genuine care that we feel welcome was fantastic. This is real Italy, this is why Italian kitchen is so fameous. This was a 6 stars experience for me. Food was authentic, home made and delicious. Grappa was also great, burns like dragon breath 😁👍 Congratulations to all the staff of Osteria Montegrappa.”

“OMG all this hype for this… waited 5 days for a reservation… arrived at 1235 for a 1300 was turned away… until 1255.. to be served really not so delicious pasta.. and back of a rabbit stew and inners.. so heart broken.. a true experience lost… you have such an lovely location if you would just search for a nonna and more polite wait staff you’d be Michelle stars… you have a long path forward.. I was so hoping for spectacular with all the hurlers to have lunch here..going back to basics with a used good Italy cookbook would bring stars and happiness to a community that needs sparklers..”

My husband and I had lunch at La Sosta on the All Saints Day holiday and while I knew it was going to be good because of the many favourable reviews, it really did exceed our expectations. The food was exquisite, (we had the degustation). The service was wonderful, mainly because of Christian who looked after our table. A delightful gentleman who went out of his way to make our lunch special. Can’t wait to come back to Brescia to eat at La Sosta again.”

I suggest book in Advance, place is very tiny and claustrofobic of you think, but Absolute to prove! For this reason for families is complex, but not impossible.. try and enjoy!”
