“Overall this is quite a good artisan pizza spot - chewy crust, great flavors/toppings, and fun cocktails. The food came out unbelievably fast - but it took a long time to get the server's attention because we sat by the door and they didn't see us. We had to go ask the hostess to get the server after waiting about 20 minutes. This is the reason for the 2/5 stars for atmosphere and 1 star removed from overall rating. The calamari was my favorite appetizer - light and perfectly fried. We enjoyed the meatballs - tender and well sauced. We went as a 6 person group and tried 5 pizzas and loved them all, especially the almondine one. That was fantastic and unique. The crusts were perfect but the middles were a little soggy so that could be improved. The salads were all fresh and delicious though on the sweeter side. The cocktails were interesting and fun and I'd go again to try a few others! I'd recommend this for an upscale sit-down pizza spot with some variety. We did not have the pasta so we cannot comment on it but we'll be back to try it! Lastly, the desserts were excellent. We got the tiramisu and the chocolate cake and they were decadent and perfect. We'd come back just for them. The tiramisu was so fluffy and light. Oof!”

“This is my first dinner in Boston and I already like this city! This restaurant is like half basement of the building. Small but have an atmosphere. Staff are friendly and foods are amazing. Love the bread, love the mussels and also pasta. Unfortunately I didn’t have space for desserts but looking at next table, those look amazing. Definitely try next time.”

“Walked in here on a Thursday night with one of my gfs, we were so hungry and wanted a place to grab some food/ catch up. We were seated in about five minutes right by the window, which I really liked. It’s very close knit, which is normally how it goes in the North End. But with the windows open, everyone in their own conversation and the music playing. It’s over all a pretty good spot to go have a quick dinner / catch up with friends. We got the bruschetta and the garlic and broccoli pasta which honestly were both very good. Pasta was very rich,light but creamy. Perfect fulfilling dish. Waiter was juggling tables, definitely very busy but made sure to check in with us/ keep an eye on things. It was perfect bc we were catching up and talking gossip ☕️🫖 In and out in under an hour. Fairly priced. Perfect in my opinion…Come here for a drink/ apps/ meal and catch up/ gossip/ have some fun.”

“We came for dinner on Monday night, it was a quiet atmosphere not busy at all and probably for that reason I would expect a better service. I ordered a cocktail that was sitting on the counter for good 10 minutes by the time it got to me I felt like it was room temperature. Other than that it was very pleasant evening, food was great , the portions though lol they were sooo big I didn’t see my face but I did saw my husbands when they were putting the plates on the table ha ha I can’t even tell you how big the portions were, we took so much food home . I actually been wondering how does this restaurant make money serving portions that generously. Well I would recommend this place and I will be back myself as well . One other thing that I really thought was awesome is that they were playing Italian music and not just random radio , makes a whole different kind of experience . Thank you .”

“I was visiting town and a colleague recommended this Gem. Best Italian food I've ever had! Everything was cooked perfectly, fresh, so much flavor, I couldn't stop eating. It was a Tuesday night, not too busy but everyone there was oooo'ing and ahhhh'ing while eating their good and there was a steady flow of to go orders the whole time I was there. Highly recommend! “Great experience! Because of the mixed reviews I didn't know what to expect, but overall it was great! No issues with the reservation as we were seated right away. The food was perfect, the service was perfect, and the atmosphere was beautiful! We both very much enjoyed our food (bread, calamari, chicken parm, Sunday gravy, creme brulee, and the enormous piece of carrot cake (not pictured). “Ravello is a hidden gem in the city, serving up some of the most delicious pasta I've ever had. I've been there twice now, and I'm already planning my next visit. The pasta is made fresh to order, and the sauces are rich and flavorful. On my first visit, I tried the Spaghetti Carbonara. The pasta was perfectly al dente, and the sauce was creamy and delicious, with a hint of smokiness from the bacon. On my second visit, I tried the Shrimp Fra Diavolo and it was amazing. In addition to the pasta, the restaurant also has a great selection of appetizers and desserts. I highly recommend the Burrata Caprese appetizer, which features fresh burrata cheese, tomatoes, and basil. For dessert, the Tiramisu is a must-try. It's made with light and fluffy ladyfingers soaked in espresso and layered with a creamy mascarpone filling. The service at Ravello is also excellent.
