Maniax Axe Throwing - Adelaide

( 10 reviews )
Closed until 09:00 AM

1 Light Terrace, Thebarton SA 5031, Australia

“This was my first time trying axe throwing and absolutely loved it. You get a lesson on correct throwing techniques by one of the lovely staff and a safety talk as well. Then they watch as you throw some axes and fine tune your technique and position. Then you get to use 3 different size axes and try hitting the target for the next 50 minutes 🙂 It's so fun and me and my friends had a great time. The beers they serve here taste so good and refreshing and the pizzas we had tasted fresh and tasty. Can't wait to go back again 😍”

“We went to see Tina simply the best. We sat in stalls so it was very easy to access with a walker. You would have a great view from any seat in the theatre! The show was absolutely fantastic and if you closed your eyes you would think it was Tina herself. Great prices too. Will definitely go back there for another show organised by Marcus Hamence!”

“I've taken the kids here a few times now and every time we go the big slide in un-usable!! it doesn't matter what your size is, you just do not slide on it. I've even seen kids walking up it without slipping!! with socks on!! since this is the biggest attraction at this facility, I would suggest they do something about it. something better than a bit of silicone spray.”

Cinema Augusta

“Customer service is not their strong point… We don’t live in town- spent all week trying to buy tickets as we know it’s a small cinema and didn’t want to drive all the way there and be turned away. The phone was never picked up, even during session times when obviously someone had to be there. Email went unanswered, still. No opening times anywhere to be found. We arrived 35 minutes before the movie and the door was open so we went to walk in and had someone yell at us from behind the counter that they aren’t open yet. They were so loud and so unexpected they actually frightened me, you’d have thought I was breaking in not walking in a door that was propped open. Went outside to wait and asked another staff member approaching the cinema when it would open and she said “I don’t know.” Even when I bought the tickets and asked, the lad said it “usually opens about half hour before.” If it’s not open, it’s not open but provide that information somewhere, and maybe tell your staff? The lad who shouted at me clearly takes his job seriously, but I think he might be the only one. It was disappointing that after spending the week trying to get anyone to talk to us the interactions were to be yelled at and told they don’t know. The tickets are cheap, the popcorns nice, the bathrooms are clean and the movie plays. If you can avoid talking to the staff as well as they avoid talking to you, you’ll probably have a better experience than we did.”

Gilles At The Grounds

South Blvd, Wayville SA 5034, Australia

“A lovely environment for a market. Lots to choose from. It is very much a craft market, which allows for the perfect place to purchase gifts from the creator to buy something special and different. The price range was great, and stall holders were friendly and helpful. Plants, jewellery, dog products, and a little bit of vintage. Something for everyone. A beautiful space for the food area. Parking was also very good.”

“I bought during Christmas support Cotton To wear below tights for ballet classes and ballet shoes. The customer service representative allowed me to wear the cotton support in store above my underwear and try different ones. When I came home seems the cotton support were too big and I went back to exchange them in Sydney York st store a day after I bought. The manager refused by saying it’s an hygiene policy. So first the customer representative did not tell me I can’t exchange them because of hygiene policy. Second they did allow me to Wear before buying anyhow in store . I even suggested to the manager I am happy to buy an extra ballet shoes if he is happy to exchange the cotton support and he still refused.”
