( 10 reviews )

1-3 South Rd, Bishop's Stortford CM23 3JG, United Kingdom

“Went to a Ceroc event here in the main hall/auditorium was nicely air conditioned and the sound system was great. Great floor for dancing, all in all very enjoyable. There is a nice bar/seating area.”

Royal Gunpowder Mills

( 8 reviews )

Beaulieu Dr, Waltham Abbey EN9 1JY, United Kingdom

“It's not a theme park. If you are into history, this is probably for you. I would recommend reading up before you go to get the best out of the visit. The tractor tour is an absolute must. The best parts (and the largest part) can only be seen this way. Get your name down on the list for the next available tour when you arrive. If you want to take pictures on the tour, most of the opportunities are available from the left side of the trailer. Recommend”

Empire Cinemas - Bishops Stortford

Anchor St, Bishop's Stortford CM23 3BP, United Kingdom

“I snuck in at midnight with some other delinquents when it was a construction site nearing completion 20+ years ago. The screening rooms were built but without chairs yet. I hid something very valuable in the nook of the cranny. I disguised myself as a builder and set off a fire extinguisher. Recognise”

Laser Planet Watford
4.3
( 8 reviews )

127 Albert Rd S, Watford WD17 1NA, United Kingdom

“Surprisingly very well organized. I mean you hope that of every party venue for a baying group of manic 8 year olds, right? But as we all know: normally the ‘party organizer’ is my 17 year old nephew with no clue, no command, no nuffink! Not Lazer planet Watford! I got a call a week before informing me the Watford had a home game: take lots of time to arrive!!! (Thanks Rhiannon!) All the staff knew what they were doing and the fella marshaling the “arena” was strict and fun in equal measure. “No physical combat: and I’m looking at you dads!” Ho ho. The whole cake nightmare and food orders after were seamless. Phew. I had to go in to the Arena and take part as “some of the children were a little scared” but they were fine and I had fun too. “Take that you annoying little sod” I didn’t say out loud. To any of the children. Well organized. Pretty good value tbh. Very therapeutic. 10 out of 10.”

Abbey Theatre
4.7
( 10 reviews )

Westminster Lodge, Holywell Hill, St Albans AL1 2DL, United Kingdom

“Lovely theatre. Watched a good little production called She Kills Monsters and quite enjoyed it. Love how the bar brings in different tipples to match the occasions, such as Burns Night and this Double Dragon to go with the Dungeons & Dragons theme of the play.”

Hertford Castle
4.7
( 16 reviews )
Closed until 09:00 AM

The Castle, Hertford SG14 1HR, United Kingdom

“Nothing really remains of the actually castle, however there is a magnificent brick gatehouse which now serves a multitude of purposes. These include offices, wedding venue and you can actually arrange a tour. The small park is very nice with a children's play area, walks and a small river occupied by ducks.”
