“Fantastic day out. The hall is free and the parking is 5.50 for up to 6 hours. I took my 7 year old to see an outdoor theatre production of Hercules, it was amazing, we are definitely going to go and see an outdoor production there again. Great value for money. Having never been there before, I was really suprised at what we found. The staff who work there are friendly and very informative. The hall itself was great to look around with lots of trying on armour and traditional tudor dress. Outside the grounds are very well kept and we met a gardener who was really helpful with advice on growing sweetcorn and other veg. The cafe and gift shop are reasonably priced. They take card :) The toilets are plentiful and very clean. A great place to go and have a picnic weather (depending) there is also outdoor seating on a terrace,we took our own folding chairs. Fantastic gem of a place . A great day out!(”

Been to several fantastic shows throughout the year. Thought Christmas Carol was amazing. Thanks for being such a super local theatre.”

“Good place to take a few friends and have a few while you get some games. It definitely get busy in there but the waiting time not that long for a table. They have 2 different tables a pool table and a sooner table I notice they have darts, and I think it’s table tennis”

This venue has a rich history and boasts a beautiful interior. The range of shows is diverse and popular, and they offer a reasonably priced, inviting bar area staffed by friendly volunteers. It's an all-around welcoming place for a fantastic night out, and I'll definitely be making more frequent visits in the future. Now, the only question is, what should I watch next?”

It was such a fun few hours. Lots of laughing and everybody was relaxed. Katie has managed to capture everybody’s personality and I’m sure you agree that the pictures she has taken are beautiful. “Rude, arrogant and disrespectful receptionist Never been to this casino chain before so I walked in expecting to just be allowed straight through (the main gate was open and I’ve only been to local casinos not chain ones) and then was shouted at being told that you can’t just walk in so I asked if she had to see my ID as I’m only 20 and understood why I would have to show her Instead of gently correcting me this Edna Mode lookalike sneered at me and told me only members are allowed in like we were in some LA high-class casino Further on this when I left after apologising for the misunderstanding (as there’s no signs stating a membership needs to be owned) she scoffed and muttered under her breath This rudeness and disrespectfulness is not just shown in my review but a few others on this page and it seems to be the same person everytime You need to fire her or atleast give her a disciplinary on why what she’s doing is wrong and set her straight? Or better yet just let her retire”
