“I adopted my dog Ginger from here. they could not be more amazing. They had her with a foster family who bathed her every day for one week with medicated shampoo because she had flees as she was found abandoned in a house. They are a great adoption place. Ginger had worms and was very tiny she is now so healthy I’m so glad this place helps local dogs find forever families”

“We visited this past Sunday to adopt a new friend. We were taken care of by Jennifer, who really took the time to get to know us and what kind of cat we were looking for. The entire staff was helpful and insightful during the process, and we left with our new friend Moon! The name was given by the shelter but we liked it so much we decided to keep it! I can’t recommend this shelter enough, it’s a little out of the way but worth it.”

“After checking out shelters for a few weeks, I'm SO glad I found the Clayton County Humane Society! I showed up as a walk-in and everyone was so welcoming and helpful. It was clear the staff loves what they do — they knew all of their cats by name and every cat seemed happy and cared for! After finding my perfect match, the adoption process for Simba couldn't have been better. Overall a near perfect experience, and I'd definitely adopt here again!”
