“We had a wonderful experience adopting our dog from the Humane Society of Delaware County. We applied for several dogs that we were interested in. Several of these dogs were in foster care and so we communicated with the foster owners. We fell in love with one dog in particular. We were able to do a one week foster to adopt trial to see if it was a good fit for us and the pup. The foster owner regularly checked in that first week and long after. She was so helpful. Four months later Howdy is doing great and we cannot imagine our lives without him. This shelter is great and made our adoption process very easy. They truly want what is best for all of the animals!!”

Apparently not having my 1 year old pup neutered was one reason. Also he hasn't lived with cats I'm not sure how am I supposed to introduce him to a cats in home if I'm not able to adopt one? I even agreed to home visit if necessary. I'm not sure what more could be done..”
