“We came in here for a 30 minute cat sesh. We have been to several cat cafes all over the country, and this is by far the coolest one. The folks that run the place are all super nice and friendly. The one cow was very helpful in bringing the cats to people and watching her play with the cats was fun in itself. Most of the cats are super friendly. Half of them are quite precocious and are striving to get the attention from a good friendly human that knows how to play with kitties. Luckily for these fair babies, I am that friendly human. I ran up and down the length of the hallway, getting the one little orange and brown tabby to chase me. I forget all their names but one was named Luke and one was named Leia. There are these really cool little soft cushions and pillows that you can just lay down and cuddle with cats. This place is awesome. Out of all the things that we've done when we've visited LA on our honeymoon, this is the thing that we might come back and do.”

“First groom and didn’t know what to expect or who would do a better groom. 5 months old with no idea what type of groom to ask for. We look at some pics and found the perfect style showed Isabel who we never met before but we were so fortunate to come in this day and Isabel was the only groomer. I’m sure others are good groomers but we are extremely happy with Isabel’s work today. Isabel listened to us and did exactly what we imagined. We are very happy with this grooming and highly recommend Isabel. Didn’t push up selling but logically and smoothly unsold us on the best package and we are very satisfied with it, good job selling Isabel!”

“My experience was the workers and the volunteers there were very helpful and caring. What you should be CAREFUL OF is the situation with "Shelter Veterinary" the contractors connected to the shelter. They do all their medicals for the pets they adopt out. Long story short they gave a friend a rather inflated bill when she came to adopt out a dog we found running in traffic a week earlier. We wanted to do the right thing in case someone was looking for her. No one was so and she came at 8am the day she was available to adopt her. She needed to be spayed. Shelter Veterinary said the anesthesia would COST EXTRA!! I've volunteered in rescue for 30 years. There is absolutely no way you can do a sterilization with no anesthetic. For one thing the animal will not stay still. This boggled my mind. I volunteered at a county shelter for 4 year and even went to Puerto Rico with a "mash" unit to sterilize pets. On top of that they told her she needed a lot of dental work. The bill came to just under $1000. This is not to say that the doggie didn't need all this done. She did and they did a good job. And, that being said, the price was not terrible for what she had done. It could have been much more. It was just the way it was handled. Of coarse a person wants to do all they can when they are emotionally invested. My friend ended up handing over her credit card and getting it all done at once. And her new doggie is thriving. But not everyone can do that. So be aware and prepared. If they tell you you have to pay "extra" (above the $120) for anesthesia and suggest extras you can say no. I don't want this to dissuade a person from adopting. You can do medicals in increments if you cannot take the financial hit all at once. And no one I spoke to from 3 active 501c3's Dog Rescues in Los Angeles has ever heard of this practice before. Good Luck... Adopt don't Shop!!”

“The best animal rescue I’ve ever been to. The animals are clearly extremely well cared for. We adopted our kitten there about a year ago and the vet was incredibly impressed at how thorough their medical team was. The staff and volunteers here are also the kindest and friendliest people quite possibly in all of LA.”

“It's amazing what these people are doing. I truly salute them for their work and passion. I went there on a few occasions when my friend was considering adopting a dog (which he ended up adopting). The place itself is ok, you book a 1-hour slot and you get a free drink. It's not a cafeteria, it's an indoor closed space with rescue dogs. The people there were very accommodating with the adoption process. They would give the dog to my friend for 1 day at a time so that both owner and dog would slowly get adjusted to one another. The whole process was very smooth.”

“Such a great pet rescue!! The place is clearly well-run and it feels clean, bright, and inviting. All the cats we visited with were incredibly sweet and it was SO hard to make a decision. But we did and he has not stopped purring since we got home! So happy we decided to choose this foundation to find our second kitty through 😊 …”

“Toughest decision I’ve had to make was today. Today I surrendered my pet Bentley who’s a 3 year old American Bull dog mix. I am having a change of living situations as I have recently been hit with financial hardship amongst other life problems. It’s important he finds a forever home and lives the life he’s lived all along. He’s a well behaved and well adventured dog and deserves the continuance of that plus more. Bentley I love you will all my heart. I hope someone is able to welcome you into their life. Never could I have imagined separating from him, I pray for someone to welcome you into their lives”
