“Very upset with my purchase. I got this mini cage for my new lizard while I was going to get my big cage the next day. Under the top there was a cracked off corner that I did not see. My lizard escaped over night never to be seen again. I want my money back but it’s out of my way and it worth the time to go get it. I give three stars because they had a good variety of animals and staff was decent.”

“I have had a difficult time finding a vet since mine retired at Washington Blvd. FINALLY a place you can actually get an appointment in a reasonable amount of time. Went today with our 2 senior dogs to establish care. Dr. Carrillo took her time with each dog, she was caring, compassionate and did not rush. She listened to everything I had to say, she answered each question. Definately our new family vet. We are very encouraged to find a vet that cares about your pet and not trying to upsale you on things you don’t need.”

“My experience was the workers and the volunteers there were very helpful and caring. What you should be CAREFUL OF is the situation with "Shelter Veterinary" the contractors connected to the shelter. They do all their medicals for the pets they adopt out. Long story short they gave a friend a rather inflated bill when she came to adopt out a dog we found running in traffic a week earlier. We wanted to do the right thing in case someone was looking for her. No one was so and she came at 8am the day she was available to adopt her. She needed to be spayed. Shelter Veterinary said the anesthesia would COST EXTRA!! I've volunteered in rescue for 30 years. There is absolutely no way you can do a sterilization with no anesthetic. For one thing the animal will not stay still. This boggled my mind. I volunteered at a county shelter for 4 year and even went to Puerto Rico with a "mash" unit to sterilize pets. On top of that they told her she needed a lot of dental work. The bill came to just under $1000. This is not to say that the doggie didn't need all this done. She did and they did a good job. And, that being said, the price was not terrible for what she had done. It could have been much more. It was just the way it was handled. Of coarse a person wants to do all they can when they are emotionally invested. My friend ended up handing over her credit card and getting it all done at once. And her new doggie is thriving. But not everyone can do that. So be aware and prepared. If they tell you you have to pay "extra" (above the $120) for anesthesia and suggest extras you can say no. I don't want this to dissuade a person from adopting. You can do medicals in increments if you cannot take the financial hit all at once. And no one I spoke to from 3 active 501c3's Dog Rescues in Los Angeles has ever heard of this practice before. Good Luck... Adopt don't Shop!!”

“It's a long story how it came to be that I started going to Crescenta Canada Pet Hospital. It's been 7 1/2 years now and there hasn't been a visit when I left and I wasn't completely comfortable, confident and relieved. Doesn't matter what doctor I see, or which staff member works with me, I'm very happy with each and every person. The recent addition to the building is very nice and it sure makes things even better. Personally, I can highly recommend them and I am so thankful for everything they do for us.”

“Extremely affordable, with that being said I scheduled my pup for a neuter. I let them know size and weight of my pup when scheduling. Said they would be able to do it. During pre op techs wouldn’t even step into the room, and vet was nervous to touch my dog. Over heard male vet tech ‘ not a dog that big’. Overall if you don’t service large breeds, don’t schedule them. I took off work for this pre op and surgery. I could have been scheduled with a place who does service large breeds. When I was in the room they all seemed so scattered. Gave info when I walked in but was asked multiple times why I was there by different people. Not organized. Only giving 2 stars because I was referred to Be well animal hospital. So far they seem great and have a same day neuter for this week. Plus AFFORDABLE”

I’m so glad I found this place because they are the total opposite of that, they go over pricing, they offer holistic solutions and it’s clean! They truly care about your animals Dr. B is the absolute greatest! Blessed to have a vet home again! Chris the vet tech and Serina (spelled name wrong) are OUTSTANDING patient and compassionate. You’re in good hands. The only thing I don’t like is giving the deposits to make the appointments :( Otherwise this place is PHENOMENAL:)”

“It’s been years since we’ve been here. We came back with a new furry friend. We were dog sitting and needed help during the holidays and everyone there is super nice. They have cameras all over the place and you can view it if you wanna see how your little one or big one is doing. What I forgot about, is that you have to bring your own food and snacks. Not all dogs have the same diet. The one main challenge which ended up not being a challenge later on, was trying to get into the gate and leaving. For as many dogs as they had, the intercom electric gate system seem to work out well. Things to note, you have to do a assessment and they’ll see where your dog fits. I think they’re at full capacity now, but our dog got grandfathered in. We are very grateful to Management and Staff for all that they do. It is so exciting to see our little lady get to go to Paradise Ranch. Thank you for making it so much fun.”

“I have been a client of this vet for many many years. Usually great service, however, recently I took in my dog because she had a UTI and they tried to get me to do a lot of tests that I didn’t feel were necessary- very expensive tests. I finally relented to a urinalysis even though I knew my dog had a UTI because she had one before. Then they also filled my prescription at the vet and never told me the price of any of the services, or that I could actually have gotten the prescription medicine on chewy or another site and saved at least $100. I walked out of there spending over $500 and feeling very taken advantage of, I will not be going back”
