“Very professional, well run boarding resort! I’m excited to be able to bring both the dog and cat to the same place. The brightly colored cat suites have a big window that looks out to greenery, birds feeders, and a pond. There’s also a high climbing platform so they can perch high on the wall. Plenty to keep him occupied! The luxury dog suite spaces are larger than any I’ve seen and have doggie doors that go to their own personal outdoor area. There’s lots of room for him to move around, stretch out and stretch up. Reasonably priced and well worth it. The outside dog play yard is huge with many structures and obstacles to climb on, under, and around. They showed me the new boarding space building across the parking lot and it’s absolutely beautiful. They do have a groomer that i’m definitely going use so that our big guy comes home from his resort stay happy, bathed, and freshly clipped!”

“I usually shop here as it’s close to my house, but never again! The manager David was staring at my sister and I the entire time we were in the store. After he followed us to the bathroom and glared at me while I was inside before the door closed I said something and all he had to say was “I don’t care that you’re upset.” I expressed my concern to another employee who said he did nothing wrong and then asked what it was I needed. He couldn’t even help me find an allergy friendly food. Go to Petco. They have better stocked variety, knowledgeable employees and don’t creep on females.”

“I typically would never leave a bad review after any bad experience i’ve had, but sadly my kids are truly upset i went to the spca on 7/7 my kids picked out the kitten they wanted and was told my staff we were able to visit as much as we wanted since she needed to be fixed before we could take her home. Finally on 7/14 they called and told me my kitten was ready for pick up but couldn’t get there until the 15th, I get there after worked an overnight and was told that the kitten i thought i had purchased was now the black and white one. after spending a week with my kids visiting the “ grey kitten” now they tell me the black and white one is mine. truly upsetting that not only did they make me feel like i was in the wrong, but being insensitive knowing i was there every other day with my kids visiting a kitten that wasn’t even ours. hopefully this is a learning lesson for them so other families won’t be disappointed. I will never adopt from here AGAIN.”

We’ve tried other local places, and let’s just say we are SO grateful to have found Dozo. The facility is extremely clean and all the staff and owners are extremely knowledgeable and caring (everyone is always smiling!). “My dog and I have been coming here for at least 7 years, if not more. All their doctors throughout the years have been wonderful. Highly attentive and genuine care when it comes to your pets health. I’ve always felt my dog was in qualified and caring hands. The front desk people have some improving to do though. They tend to be cold and somewhat rude and not always helpful. I tend to ignore that aspect of the service because the doctors are so great. We also go to All Ears Vet down the street as our secondary veterinarian.”

“I cannot describe how wonderful this vet practice is. We have a 10 year old dog and have been to at least a dozen vets over his life. This one **is by FAR the best**. It’s not even close. I’ve come here for 5 years and our dog has had a couple health issues in that time - I think I can give a pretty accurate assessment of the practice. I look for a few things when going to a vet: 1. Most important: a smart and effective vet who keeps your pet safe. Absolutely yes. I cannot describe how much I appreciate Dr Stronger. She is the type of vet who absolutely knows what she’s doing and genuinely loves animals. She’s very smart and has caught a few things early from basic checkups. She has an absolute aura of competence. The few times our dog has had to go to a specialist or for follow up treatment, every other doctor mentions just how wonderful her reputation is. Finally, I often do research before bringing my dog in. Sometimes with other vets, I’ve politely asked about whatever I read, and they either say “oh I didn’t think of that” or they are irritated that I would ask at all. Dr Stronger is the opposite. She’s completely on top of things and she encourages you to ask questions and she wants to help you understand what’s happening with your pet. I genuinely feel completely safe with my dog in her care, and I don’t know if I can say that about any other vet I’ve encountered. 2. They care about your pet: Absolutely. This is where they go from being great vets to truly exceptional As with many vets they are always booked. But when it’s an emergency they have **always** fit us in as soon as was necessary, often the same day despite being very busy. Not only that, Dr Stronger is the type of vet who calls as soon as the results come in. When she calls she asks about my dog and obviously genuinely cares. She asks follow up questions and if you have something to ask after the visit she’ll make time for a call after the days appointments without charge. Truly exceptional service. 3. Reasonable prices: Check - they’re not the absolute cheapest but I’d say the prices are below average in NYC 4. Their goal is to help your pet and not to sell you unnecessary procedures: check. There have been multiple occasions where I asked about a test or a follow up and the vet talked me out of it, saying it wasn’t necessary. On the other hand, there have been a few occasions where they did recommend further testing and each time it caught something important. In those occasions I was bracing myself for a huge charge but the testing prices were always reasonable 5. Kind staff. They are always busy but always friendly and make the experience positive Long story short I cannot recommend this place enough. I do not have a single complaint about them and I recommend them to anyone with a pet I have only encountered Dr Stronger so cannot speak for the other vet but I would expect they are just as competent”
