I feel blessed to live close enough to use Local Bark. Last year I traveled almost 70% of the time for work. “I took my standard poodle in to have groomed. I had an appointment with the person who did it last time and was wonderful. Another woman said she would do it instead. Two hours latter they called me to come in and get her. She was shaking her ears which had been shaved raw along with her tail. This is not how you cut a poodle. I am so happy we got her out of there before this woman shaved her whole body. Run from here, don’t walk.”

“The gals here did an outstanding job taking care of my puppy! She needed a haircut a month ago but as a otr trucker it was impossible for me to schedule anything anywhere. Everybody is booked 2 weeks out and I don't know where I'm gonna be 2 days from now. I must have called 20 groomers trying to get somebody to help me on short notice and everybody said no. I carried my shaggy baby into this store and told them my plight and they went the extra mile to fit us in! I even parked my rig in the back of the loading dock lol. Hailey did a fabulous job with the haircut and nail grind. My little Clarabelle looks and feels and smells great now! Especially in this crazy heat! She was so happy when we got back to the truck. I'd recommend coming here to anybody! If you're another trucker with the same problem, call and tell them. I'm going to find a load coming this way the next time she needs a haircut just so I can come back here..”

“This is a great pet store with a good selection of items. I wish they were more competitive with their pricing, but I guess everything costs more these days. Having worked at a pet store myself for a few years in my early twenties, I appreciate the cleanliness of the store and good health of the animals. They have cats and kittens available for adoption, fish, a few reptiles, birds, and the usual dog/cat supplies; including, food, toys, bedding, grooming products, etc. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because this store always seems short-staffed to me. We often have to wait quite a while to flag someone down for crickets or fish; many times there are 6 people in line with only one checker, etc. Employees are always sweet, kind, and helpful so that is awesome.”

“Great place, very helpful and understanding. We needed to put our senior dog down last year. We went to one place first, and they made us wait almost an hour in their parking lot before telling us they couldn't do it. We had to make an appointment. Heart broken that my dog was suffering. We drove to East Hills Veterinary Hospital, spoke to receptionist who put us in a room. Vet came in and examined out dog and recommended we put him down. They took him back gave him medicine and wrapped him they came back and explained the process and asked if my kids wanted to stay or leave the room. We all stayed by my pup side till the end. I will alway recommended East Hills Veterinary Hospital. I now take my new pup to them.”

“This has been our main Petsmart location for 2 years. The employees are all very friendly: "Tell your fur-babies we said hi!" The cat adoption center seems to have a good turn around, as we go once a month for our cats supplies, and there are always new kittens, which hopefully means they all got adopted! They also offer, "adoption," for fishes, hamsters, guinea pigs, lizards, birds, and chinchillas! And of course, the whole right side of the store is devoted to doggos and offer dog gromming! The bathroom code is 3101. You're welcome!”

“It was incredibly clean on the floor. They did have quite a bit of boxes of stock that were on the aisles but generally speaking, it was okay. No long line, no exceptional customer service either but when I asked for what I was looking for the lady stated that she did not have any pet trackers and that I could probably go to Target. Not the best suggestion if you're trying to sell things from your own company...IF I was the manager I would say go to our PetSmart website Yada Yada yada... but Target I went thanks for the suggestion.”

“I scheduled an appointment for a bath and brush for my Mini Doodle on 12/5/23. I was excited about trying this location because it is close to our home. Checking in went well however when I arrived to pick up I immediately noticed that his coat wasn’t fully dry. When putting on his booties I noticed that his paws were very damp. Today I noticed more things that raised concern as his coat is not fully brushed out and he doesn’t smell like he received a proper wash. I’m extremely unhappy with the service received and question the care that was given to my fur baby. I usually take him to another location in Sacramento where he gets the service and care he deserves. I was hoping that this location would work out because it is closer to our home but unfortunately it did not. After seeing other reviews about this grooming salon I will not be going back. ***Update to my experience After placing my complaint I did not receive a response from Petsmart. I had to follow up 2 times and have my concerns escalated. I received a call from Cassandra the salon manager who offered to give me a better experience. Today 12/23/23 my doodle received a good wash and brush his coat is soft and fluffy and he smells good. I love it when I picked him up he was so happy and that gives me so much relief because he such a sweet boy a totally different experience today and I appreciate Petsmart for making it right. Thank You”

I checked them out and they were also nice and clean. One of the hosts named Emily helped us when we needed to buy some wood. She waa super nice. Actually, everyone is nice here.
