We were seen on time based on our appointment. Dr Erickson was knowledgeable, listened to all our concerns and took what time was needed to make sure we understood everything she was saying and answered all our questions. We received timely follow-up for lab reports by e-mail, which also explained the results with any follow-up instructions. Excellent place and care.”

“I've been using Sandhills on and off for 7 years now. I've loved all of the vets I've worked with except Dr Rosmer. Not sure if it was a bad day, or what but when I brought my pup there a few years back she talked down to me when she found out I had more than 2 dogs, and seemed to think I couldn't care for them properly since my pup was on a check chain and was excited to see her so was pulling and red in the ears from being overly excited AND sick. I've used many of their other vets through the years and they've all been absolutely amazing! Most recently Dr. Beard.”

“The best vet clinic I've ever been to. Before I was a patient, I called them with concerns about my pet, and they were extremely helpful and kind. When I went for an appointment, the staff was very nice and welcoming, and they were right on time. The vet that I met, Dr. Laurens (Lawrence?), asked lots of questions and really seemed to want to get to the bottom of my pet's issue. She was very attentive and knowledgeable. Also, she was very careful and gentle with my pet. The pricing was not bad as well. This was the least stressed my anxiety-prone pet has ever been at a clinic. I was so happy with my visit and so was my pet. :)”

Since then, we have come back to the Malibu location three times with an emergency/ in need of services our new vet does not offer (x rays and ultrasounds). This visit, we brought our dog in to investigate frequent urination issues. We saw Dr Jonah and can’t recommend him enough. He was very empathetic to the difficulty we have been experiencing and was patient and thorough when talking through options. We are still trying to figure out what is going on with our dog but feel great about having dr Jonah continue to help us investigate.”

“This was my first experience with pet insurance. My puppy (Bernese Mountain Dog) went through an “eating everything except food” phase, so he had a couple of trips to the vet for blockage. I had my paperwork, but kept putting off filing with Spot Pet Insurance because I just dreaded the process. (Not filed correctly, send more information, not covered, etc.) Well, it turns out that anxiety was all for nothing! The filing process could not have been easier. When additional documentation was needed, they contacted the vet directly instead of asking me to do it. And then… shockingly… they approved and paid my claim in less than 7 days!!! They direct deposited right into my account!!! I have never had such a great experience with a company before. Not just insurance companies (let’s face it, they have terrible reputations and deservedly so), but any company. They have excellent coverage at an excellent price.
