“Hounds Town Farmingdale has been wonderful for my Blue! She was immediately welcomed and loved by the staff who have made not only her, but me, feel so comfortable and confident knowing she is in the best hands. She can never hop out of the car fast enough when she gets dropped off for daycare!”

“I live in the area and not sure why I stopped coming to this store. People are very friendly and helpful. It’s been a couple years but I’m glad my wife and I came in tonight so I’ll have to stop in more often. Prices are great and especially on the dogfood.. keep up the good work.”

“I had to bring my Benny into Bond Vet Astoria for GI & skin issues. Benny and I have been to multiple vets, animal hospitals, etc but BOND VET was incredible. From the moment I walked in, my family, Benny and I were greeted with warmth and compassion. We had to do a walk-in, and the team was efficient in finding us a slot time!! Benny’s vet and medical techs, Dr. Zhu, Jen and Luis were the best. They handled my Benny with so much love and I felt secured knowing he was in good hands. Dr. Zhu’s bedside manner was phenomenal and fantastic. I will definitely come back! Thank you all for the kindness, and empathy you’ve given Benny and my family Full disclosure: BENNY is not an aggressive dog but I just call it “vet coat syndrome” where he gets anxious and upset when he comes in. Otherwise he still loved everybody! Thank you all again!”

“*this was the care we received from the emergency vet for 7 hours. I have the bill and the pictures of my dog at the emergency vet getting treatment. he had eaten toxic mushrooms from the backyard. I have taken my dogs to you for years would not post something if it was not true. I went to their facility after calling in and letting them know I have an emergency with my pup if they were able to see me and treat him. this was at 6pm and they were closing at 7pm. the receptionist said yes knowing they were closing in an hour to bring my pup in. my pup was having neurological symptoms due to ingesting a toxic substance and was getting worst. they sat us in a room for the doctor to come in and tell me that the dog is having a reaction and to take him to the emergency vet after a whole hour of sitting in the doctor's room waiting for him to come while my dog was getting worst. no one was coming to see him even though I was telling the nurses. he was vomiting and loosing consciousness and was progressively becoming more unresponsive and started drooling. the doctor walked I for 2 mins to see the pup like it was a joke looked at hom said it was up to me but he thinks I can take him home and watch him since they are closing now and they don't have anyone to watch him through out the night or I can take him to the emergency vet and have them watch him there. charged me $100 for sitting there waiting for an hour for them to tell me to take him to another vet. did nothing not even a blood test. I rushed with him to upstate emergency vet where they took amazing care of him. he was in toxic shock from injesting a toxic substance and needed blood test to make sure his kidney and liver wasn't damage and iv fluids to rehydrate him as he was constantly throwing up and refusing food or water. thank God to them for saving my pup and taking so much care and attention to him in this emergency moment. will never take my dog back to aqueduct animal hospital and recommend anyone to go there. they are money hungry and a waste of time. when I called in at 6pm the receptionist and doctor should not have wasted my time to have me bring my pup who needed emergency service to them knowing they were closing and couldn't treat him just to make an extra $100 from me sitting there waiting. my dog was so sick and could have died. heartless team horrible doctor.”

“Very professional shelter. I adopted 2 cats, Marlo and Arlan. They are the best cats I've had. Couldn't be any happier. They are healthy and up to date on their shots. They give you a goodie bag that the cats love (home made toys and a small blanket that smells like the shelter) that helps the cats accommodate the new atmosphere. They give you plenty of time to spend with the cats before adoption to make sure you are getting the cat you are looking for. Very happy, and on top of that I am not lonely anymore! Thank you so much.”
