“This was Teddy's first stay at Red Dog and he had a very positive experience. He came home much more relaxed than from other places where he has stayed. He was uninterested in eating in the beginning but Red Dog called us and we came up with a plan that would get him eating but also keep his sensitive stomach in mind. The facility is super clean and the staff is really friendly and obviously cares about the pets in their care. Teddy will definitely be visiting again! Thank you!”

“I have been a customer of Polkadog for years. We exclusively buy all treats and dog food here. The quality of their products is fantastic. I especially like the treats they make themselves (at their kitchen on the Boston Fish Pier). I either visit their Chestnut Hill location or buy online. When I order online they shop quickly! Highly recommend Polkadog — the ONLY place I will shop for our beloved dog ❤️”

“If you would like a place where you make an appointment to see the vet, and you’re actually able to see the vet, don’t bring your pet here! I made an appointment for my dog to see the vet because she is paralyzed in her back end, I called to confirm they had a ramp and they told me my appointment was never scheduled. I had chatted with someone the week before, and made the appointment. My husband took the day off to help me carry our dog into the vet and they refused to give me the appointment or any appointment for that day. The office was unable to squeeze me in even though one of their incompetent employees was the reason my dog wasn’t scheduled. Later on, the office manager, who I was told was on medical leave, magically wasn’t anymore and called me to see if I could come in with my pet at noon.. even though there was no possibility of a squeeze in earlier that day when I spoke to the receptionist, April. This place clearly doesn’t care about their patients wellbeing and when they make a mistake, they refuse to make it right until it’s too late. Don’t advise!”
